I've watched the episode 7+ times. Is this bad? The first scene with the Sept exploding might be the best 15mins or so that I have ever seen on TV or in theatre. The music is haunting and the acting is perfect.

It's really as if Cersei attempted to do what Michael Corleone did in the Godfather, but in a much more brutal and obvious manner. They had to have gotten the idea for the scene from that.

I don't mind borrowing from other sources. I thought it was simply fantastic. So long as you can take what someone else has done and make it new/your own, then I don't care. It's just rip-offs that didn't have an original idea or creative way to do things new from the past that piss me off.

OK could anybody tell exactly what cersei's crown was made into? Tommen had one that looked like antlers. Margary has one that was both thorns and antlers. Euron had a crown of driftwood. Robert had an antler crown and so did renly.

Just realized a delicious bit of irony in this episode: Tommen is actually karma for Jaime and Cersei throwing Bran out a window. Both of them are 3rd child's with similar age gaps. And it's how Tommen chooses to kill himself.
And looking back, it is pretty sad how Tommen and Bran ended up. I think they could have been fast friends had shite not gloriously hit the fan with the world in general.
