Ros (the whore) and Carice Van Houten both have better knockers than Natalie Dormer.

Melissandre is still in Westeros.
Well, assuming she hasn't teleported yet.

the ToJ cut to Jon scene may have been the most satisfying scene in the series- so many stupid Internet arguments and drunken college conversations vindicated.
Oh don't get me wrong, it was in the sense that it answered the biggest question of the series. But on the surface, Jon repeatedly bashing Ramsay's face in was the most satisfying thing I've ever seen on tv.

I'm not sure if this has been discussed yet, but I rewatched last night's episode and Dany claims she will let the people choose their leaders. Is this what Dany was talking about when she claimed she'll break the wheel? Is she trying to set up a democratic government in Westeros as well?
I think she was just talking about the cities she conquered in Essos. She just wanted to remove the slavers from power.
I think she still intends to rule over all of Westeros. Though she did say Asha would be queen of the Iron Islands. IDK if they will be completely autonomous our will still have to declare fealty to Dany.

Are you suggesting that George Bush is going to take out Cersei?
God please.
God please.

I dunno. She still has that one Sand Snake with her amazing rack and the glamoured boobies of Melisandre to contend with when it comes to "best baby feeders."

That theory was complete trash. It never made any sense. It never had any textual support. It was just people trying to come up with more stupid hidden identities to get fricking YouTube views.
Actually had a fair bit of text support. Go listen to the radio Westeros podcast on it and you may change your mind.

The area around the Sept seemed pretty empty when Lancel was following the kid. When the sparrows opened the doors to the Sept, they seemed very surprised with how empty the area was.
Obviously there were a good bit of people killed in the surrounding areas, but not nearly as many as there could have been it seems.

Good question.
Dany told Asha something about "respecting the integrity" of the 7Ks.
Pretty vague, but I would think fealty is part of the bargain.

I would probably guess around 1000-2000 people were killed.

I just don't know how Cersei could have possibly thought this was a good idea, aside from her insanity. The Mad King lit two nobles on fire and started a war.
Since Cersei did the same with the Tyrells, GRRM seems to be ripping off his own writing.
Jaime definitely queen slays her when Dany comes knocking.

So, how many people did Cersei kill with this? I'd imagine it's at least on 9/11's scale. The 500 or so people in the Sept, plus the thousands of commoners outside of it waiting for Cersei and the Knight of Flowers' trial, and then the raging wildfire that likely burnt down the city for many blocks at a time. The population of King's Landing is half a million, so I'd say it's safe to say at least 5,000 people were killed if not more.
I just don't know how Cersei could have possibly thought this was a good idea, aside from her insanity. The Mad King lit two nobles on fire and started a war. You think you can kill off your daughter in law, your betrothed, your uncle, the Pope, and thousands of other people and burn down the Vatican that people would still follow you? Since Jaime's off the Kingsguard, isn't he now Lord of Casterly Rock? I'm sure he wouldn't have any issue convincing all the Lords of the Westerlands in killing Cersei off. Aside from Qyburn and Ser Robert strong, I don't see her having any allies.
The only way it's a good idea is if she says the Martells did it.

Maybe she's talking about a mixture of Monarchy and a Democratic government, with elected leaders in places like the Iron Islands, Meereen, Winterfell, ect while still technically under the rule of crown

Lot of saltiness going on up in this thread today. I think people are kind of having a "gotta wait many months for the next episode" withdrawals.
It kind of reminds me of the scene from Three Amigos:

You realize GRRM didn't write that scene last night right?

No no it really didn't. After reading people shilling that shite on here for more than a season, I've read all of the support for it. It all just cobbled together nonsense. The theory never made sense in universe or as a narrative.
It was trash that got soundly flushed last night.

I'll have to watch the scene again, but it's possible the little birds may have spread a small bit of warning at the last minute to the throngs outside - perhaps what few older family and friends they have. The outside certainly didn't seem as crowded as it was for either Cersei's walk or Margarey's walk DENIED, but of course the Sept itself was filled to bursting.
