As someone who thinks the PC shite is insane, and the wage gap just flat out isn't supported by actual data, I have no problem with the episode. Or the female characters being so influential.
I am pissed about Margaery though, because she was outplaying everyone else in KL.

Unela getting raped by the mountain was horrifying. Like holy shite that's awful. One of the most gruesome events of the entire show.

Getting yourself burned to death is a pretty sure sign you aren't winning.
I'm glad we don't have "maybe Margaery survived" conspiracy theorists running around (yet).

I mean she didn't get herself burned. She figured it out and the faith physically forced her to stay.

She knew something was wrong, too. I was hoping she'd get out in time (unbeknownst to Tommen of course) and hunt down Cersei.

Was there a reason he went there and not the sept?

Not Jon Not Sansa Not every fricking northman who believed that Theon killed Rickon and Bran only to realize it was false when they saw Rickon alive.
That's the problem with the show changing storylines on the fly - I'm not saying all the changes are bad. Some are just necessary and some have been good. But it is details like this that slip through. This isn't even a Hodor excuse - this is all information well known to the television viewer as well. Theon allegedly killed them both. When Rickon turns up alive, every Stark family member and loyalist should have immediately thought:
"Where the frick is Bran?"
Period. I agree with your outrage, UB.

Also, frick Lucas and his HS = HR.
There was literally like a hundred things to love about last night's episode, but seeing your fricking awful theory go up in flames gave me more satisfaction than Cersei is getting from torturing her Septon.

The fact that you are in a position where you can't leave even when you know something is wrong is a sign you fricked up somewhere along the line.

If she had just left inconspicuously she probably could have made it out, but she just had to go down to the floor to try to get Loras as well.

Literally one of the best theories, hardly "awful".

Meh. If she had Targ blood she would have survived.

So, how many people did Cersei kill with this? I'd imagine it's at least on 9/11's scale. The 500 or so people in the Sept, plus the thousands of commoners outside of it waiting for Cersei and the Knight of Flowers' trial, and then the raging wildfire that likely burnt down the city for many blocks at a time. The population of King's Landing is half a million, so I'd say it's safe to say at least 5,000 people were killed if not more.
I just don't know how Cersei could have possibly thought this was a good idea, aside from her insanity. The Mad King lit two nobles on fire and started a war. You think you can kill off your daughter in law, your betrothed, your uncle, the Pope, and thousands of other people and burn down the Vatican that people would still follow you? Since Jaime's off the Kingsguard, isn't he now Lord of Casterly Rock? I'm sure he wouldn't have any issue convincing all the Lords of the Westerlands in killing Cersei off. Aside from Qyburn and Ser Robert strong, I don't see her having any allies.

When we saw her father I was thinking he was going to do something to allow her to escape. Like attacking a guard from behind. Though at that point it wouldn't have done any good.
I think I would rather be in the sept that right outside. Those guys getting flattened by that bell looked gruesome.

That theory was complete trash. It never made any sense. It never had any textual support. It was just people trying to come up with more stupid hidden identities to get fricking YouTube views.
So glad that shite is over.

I'm not sure if this has been discussed yet, but I rewatched last night's episode and Dany claims she will let the people choose their leaders. Is this what Dany was talking about when she claimed she'll break the wheel? Is she trying to set up a democratic government in Westeros as well?

I have a feeling Jaime is done with her due to one or more of the following reasons.
1) Indirectly killed their last child.
2) Had the body burned before he even got there
3) Fire in KL seems to be a trigger for him.
4) Crowned herself queen without even a thought about him.
He just gave that speech to Edmure about how much he cares for her. She clearly doesn't reciprocate. Jaime has sacrificed so much for Cersei (joining the King's Guard and giving up his inheritance, not being a parent to their kids, lost a hand fighting a war for her, etc.). I think he just saw that his devotion means nothing to her.
Danny is about steamroll Cersei.
