They should have just waited for next season for dany. Sending off jorah was the a solid ending point.

If they insist on keeping her in 8 out of 10 episodes it definitely will be unbearable

And more of Grey Worm/Missandei's budding romance.

Oh god, that has been the worst scene this season...either that or Daario stripping.

I could handle a little Dany/Missandei action.

Dany was supposed to hook up with one of her servant chicks. They decided to write out the best scene of the entire series i guess.

For real?!?
Does that mean Ser Green Chiles is releasing TWoW soon so D&D will have material to pull from?

HBO has held "Game of Thrones" to 10-episode seasons through its first four years on the air, but author George R.R. Martin really wishes that would change. In an interview with the New York Times, he laments the fact that the TV show doesn't have more time to explore the nuanced character relations he writes in the "A Song of Ice and Fire" novels.
"I wish we had more episodes," he tells the paper. "I'd love to have 13 episodes. With 13 episodes, we could include smaller scenes that we had to cut, scenes that make the story deeper and richer."
One scene in particular that he misses is from Season 1, when Arya and Sansa fight after they are invited to have lunch with Queen Cersei. According to the Times, Martin "misses the scene because it adds texture and helps establish early on the characters of and relationship between the sisters."
Martin also offers a non-update on his latest novel, "The Winds of Winter." When asked about its status, he says, "It's going along," with the sigh of "a good dreamer on deadline" in his voice.

I think two 6-7 episode seasons a year would work best for this or any other adaptation of a large fantasy series

I have a feeling some of the actors/actresses will outgrow their roles before it is all over.

It's already happening...but I actually like that everyone is aged up in the show.
