I've been rock hard since Sunday. Maybe I should see a doctor.

I liked the kings moot chapters. some parts dragged but i loved some of the characters.

I likened them to Norsemen

That is probably the only good thing the bleachers report has ever done.

I think Sunday night's episode is going to be one of the best, if not the best, episode of the series so far.

-Bran and crew: wight attack, COTF, Bloodraven
-The Hound "dying"
-Arya getting on a ship
-Jaime and Varys freeing Tyrion
-Tyrion killing Tywin
-Jon treating with Mance and Stannis to the rescue
-Lady Stoneheart

-And maybe Drogon will eat Dany?

If it's not considered the best, it's all on D&D IMO.

They have the material and the story lines all built up for an epic season finale. If it's not the best, it's because they didn't do a good job on it.

That said, rarely have they had an underachieving episode that was supposed to have something awesome happen. I think they will do a great job on it and it will be the best in the show.

This may have been a setup to them not having a vote for LC on the show, at least not the way that it went down in the book. Jon had the Wall and did well, kicked arse at the gate and, like you said, Thorne says point blank that when you have to second guess yourself it's time to step down. That would leave Slynt, and they made it a point to show how chicken shite he is and unfit to lead.

I think Thorne reluctantly passes command to Jon.

Drogon will eat somebody, but not Dany

Don't ask me why I thought of this, but if Jon is Rhaegar and Lyanna's, he may have been born on the same day as Dany. Probably doesn't mean anything, but never really thought about the chronology.

Yeah agree with a lot of that... But I still think they go on with the vote. That's a huge moment for Sam, arguably his biggest moment in the series. I just think Thorne is gonna remove his name for lord commander and say something along the lines of "I'm not capable of being lord commander" and just pull out of the running.

Sorry, I just crackpotted all over myself. The Dany/Jon thing should be on the other thread.
