I love the Blackfish
. And was this the first time in the show that they alluded to the Frey women being fugly?
I also saw in the preview next week, a glimpse of Jaime jumping into the bear pit.![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconbow.gif)

I don't remember Meera and Osha being adversaries in the book. Was that a departure? If so, why?
I think it just makes their scene more enjoyable. At this point the Reeds, Osha, Rickon, and Bran are just walking pretty much. They need to show them but it would be a pretty boring scene if they were just traveling.

Also, I don't know how or why this season wouldn't end with the Purple Wedding. It just seems like they're building up to it so much, even more so than the Red Wedding.

Well, during the fight, they showed Hodor saying "Hodor".
I loled for a good minute out loud about that.

I've been realizing this. I think this season ends with Joffrey's death

The Red Wedding is just going to be a punch in the mouth for the non readers even moreso without any foreshadowing. The Purple Wedding will just serve to keep people from getting pissed and jumping ship.

Was the Red Viper at the Purple Wedding? I know he is involved in Tyrion's trial, but I forget when he shows up.

Agreed. I think a lot of people would jump ship if it ended with the RW...yeah, Robb's a good guy, yadda yadda, honorable like Ned, but he's kind of bland. The other Starks are more interesting IMO. Bran, Arya, Jon, even Sansa's story with LF will pick up soon. Poor Rickon, I left him out
.

Maybe telling us the 3rd book is two seasons is just a troll on the book readers. Give us something we don't expect

They are gonna have to expand a little more on the departure for me to approve. I'm not sure what to think about it now.
I liked the exchange between Arya and Mel, but I'm not sure i can process the logistics of Mel getting there and back. I also worry that this is foreshadowing somethings that will be in future books. In other words, they are departing now from the book story line to shorten the current movie story line. I'm worried that watching the show might spoil future books.......

So no Dornish were cast at all this season...guess S4 E1 will be a big meet the Dornish episode.

Will it be Season 4 Episode 2? Heard rumors that Donut Boy is writing the episode.

I agree that there will not be a PW this season, but they could very easily leave it out of the (short) description they give for the episodes.

That is true as well. Maybe they want to keep us guessing.

Th first time they Introduce the Freys you see that it's a pretty dank, disgusting family, just from Lord Walder's mannerisms.
Those two they showed this episode reminded me of the Mcvoyles from Its Always Sunny. Like they'd drink warm milk out of mason jars in the bathrobes and shite.

It doesn't help that Walder Frey=Argus Filch. He was such a sack of shite in Harry Potter as well
. Good casting on GoT's part!
