It was kind of good to see him being a sick frick again (of course Margery will never hear of it) - it's shame it came at her expense bc she's hot.

I forget, what did the whore tell Varys that led little finger to get Joffery to kill her?

I took it as she was upset because 1) she told LF she wanted to stay and marry Loras and now she she missed the boat and 2) she is not to excited about her pending marriage to Tyrion.
see i think she is more upset she wont be leaving kings landing. Marrying either Littlefinger or The gay knight took her out of Kings Landing. Marrying Tyrion does not.

I love this series but the last two episodes have been subpar, in my opinion. I understand that the plot must be moved forward and things must be set up but this pace is starting to grind on me. I don't need battles every week but I prefer to have at least a significant occurence to maintain my interest. By significant occurence I don't mean changing marriage plans I mean beheading or whacking a main character at the very least.

If I am not mistaken she told him of Little Fingers plan to take Sansa away/marry her/use her as a pawn. If I am mistaken someone please correct me.

Also, was it ever stated what his plans were for taking her away, or just assumed he had bad intentions for her?

Edit: 1 more thing seeing Lady Olenna Tyrell and Tywin Lannister go at it last night was awesome. Two Alphas (though different methods of approach) going at it. The comments from them both made me LOL.

I thought he was just going to use her as everyone else wants to use her, as the Key to the North. And that he actually had feelings for her family since he had feeling for her mom. right?

dude

tywinn commanding that tyrion marry sansa is a big fricking deal on multiple levels. compounding that, he commanded that cersei marry lloris and then strong-armed the tyrells into doing it. not only do they involve major plot twists/developments, but it provided 2 amazing scenes of television

i think he was going to use her to get at cat, personally.

the north + harrenhall is major for his power play, but he's still got the vapors for cat big time

So you want a main character to die every week? Thats gonna be tough.

How about climbing the fricking wall and two big characters nearly being killed?

The red lady meeting up with Arya and taking the bastard all while finding out more about the power of the lord of light?

Finding out who tried to kill Tyrion?

Joffrey murdering the whore?

Loras' love for fringed sleeves?

Great scene with Old hag and Tywin?

Not too mention being serenaded by the fat arse to start the episode.

So much greatness happened this episode, that I find your disappointment in the past 2 episodes to be childish. You probably thought 300 was a masterpiece of epic proportions.

there are 50 different familys with 50 different sigils.

to be fair, in the "power is power" or whatever scene with cersei, she makes mention of the mockingbird sigil

Maybe but as others have mentioned he has/had the hots for Lady Cat. Perhaps he was going to return her in an effort to land her mom

I heart this series though....

Anyone else disappointed we didn't actually get to witness the scene of Tyrion explaining the marital situation to Sansa and Shae. Seem like a cheap way out.

Yeah, I more wanted to see Shae's reaction and Tyrion's response to that. haha

I'm sure we'll get awful acting by Shae next week with badly written overwrought prose.

They've been letting some big shite happen off camera lately. Thoros bringing Dondarion back to life, for example.
