Whoever theon's captor is, did he not imply that he was going to hunt the Stark boys and not in a find them to help them kind of way?
Would bolton's bastard be looking to kill the Stark boys? If not, who else would want them dead?
ETA: watched both the last 2 episodes with closed captions and it helps immensely

He is a sick creep frick, so there is no telling what he intends to do with that knowledge. However him callling himself a better hunter certainly implied this.

Anyone not loyal to the north would want them dead for their own personal gain. And I don't think this would apply to the Bolton's.

Bolton Bastard seems to be a sadistic a-hole - some men just like to watch the world burn.
I assume we'll be seeing the Bolton's play a larger role in this story going forward - his father has been getting a lot of face time lately as well.

That's definitely the impression I got from him. Dude's a pretty twisted a-hole.

It does, and the subtitles on Xbox Live are great because they're like a half second behind the dialogue. So you can ignore them if you want, but if you hear something that you need clarified you have time to glance down and read it. It also helps with names (and spelling of the names).
I thought this episode was decent. Not much happened in terms of action, but I don't need that to happen every week.
The convo with Jon Snow and Ygritte...so we're to believe that he is still a Crow and is sort of "undercover"?
Also, maybe I missed it, but why were they climbing the wall to begin with? Especially with only like 12 people (3 groups of 4 IIRC)..? And when I got to the top, I'd have thrown that dude (who cut the rope) off and not thought twice about it.
I wish they'd have shown the actual converstaion of Tyrion telling Sansa that he was gonna be all up in that. Would've been hilarious(ly awkward) to see.

Pretty much, and probably compounded by her new knowledge she has to wed Tyrion.

I believe so. That's the ship he pointed out to her in previous episodes I believe.

I took it as she was upset because 1) she told LF she wanted to stay and marry Loras and now she she missed the boat and 2) she is not to excited about her pending marriage to Tyrion.

You seem to be pretty confident that it is in fact Bolton's bastard that has Theon. Maybe I missed something but how can you be so sure, I pay attention and rewatch and I'm still on the fence with that one.

The X is pretty convincing evidence as to the family, and the bastard is the only other bolton that has been mentioned in a meaningful way (that I can remember). However, the torturer did not seem to be in charge when he confronted the guards during the escape nor when he returned Theon. So why would bolton say he would send his bastard to take back winterfell if he weren't in charge?

I think this thread has accepted it, at least in the last few weeks. Either that or an evil book reader infiltrated and told us
1. The "you bastard" line before Theon's original captor gets arrow'd in the face.
2. Lord Bolton told Robb he'd send his bastard to Winterfell. Since then, not a single person seems worried about Winterfell anymore.
3. The "X" shaped tortured cross - similar to Bolton's sigil.

Well he did discuss his bird sigil he created in conversation with someone - Season 2 maybe?

Not really. I think she was saying that she knows he's not completely on the wildlings side yet. However they should look out for each other first and foremost as no matter what army they are a part of they are no more than mere soldiers to those leaders. To each other they are a lot more.

Also late to the party but RIP Roz....
Man ole Joffrey is a sick little dude.
I am interested to know what will come of Snow and his lady. Will he stick with her or keep his oath with the watch?

I know you are joking, but he wears it in literally every scene. I agree that it is not something you'd pick up on the first time, but many in this thread watch the episodes multiple times, and then go back and watch previous episodes to help understand things. I know I did.

I too was looking forward to seeing Sansa's face when Tyrion told her they were going to be married. Dammit!!!
