I can't remember who Karl or Polliver are.

esp since that c-word killed the innocent frey wife for no good reason at that point

I would hate being married to Walder though.

very true, but cat just ensured that he's going to the bone zone with another young lass, so she's indirectly giving him pleasure

If my son and all his friends and companions were murdered in front of me, I'd slit her throat as well. She swore she'd kill her, so she went through with her act. Of terrible things Cat has done this doesn't even register. She put her out of her misery the way I see it.

I preferred Cat killing Frey's wife in the show over Jingle Bell--it definitely made more sense to kill her IMO...ETA: am I allowed to say that or is that a spoiler?

I think killing Jingle Bell was the better of two routes, you needed to she that she totally lost it and murdered a retarded little boy who had nothing to do with anything.

Nope. He was the Night's Watch deserter that Jon put a sword through his throat.

All of their names blend together after a while

HBO showed them fighting in the previews for this season. I didnt spoil shite. Even the hodors are in line with that. I'm still reading book one at a very leisurely pace, lol.
I would think that if anyone on this board could spot a sarcastic joke, it would be you.
I thought the "though not a reader" part was a dead giveaway.

I got banned on another forum for talking about that fight. I pointed out it was in the trailer but they said "some people don't watch trailers!"

Eta: many people also have the fight depicted in pictures used as avatars/sigs (like Cosmo). Non-readers just didnt realize it.
The fact of them fighting in the trailer doesn't reveal why they were fighting.
Instead of making excuses you can just say it was an accident. That is allowed.

Unless you bragged in the Maester thread about using that as an excuse

Who would have imagined the admins would take being screwed with seriously.

This. I'm probably one of the biggest anti-Cat people around. She's screwed things up from the get-go and in my view is significantly responsible for a lot of the bad shite that has happened in Westeros. But killing a Frey, even a Frey wife is not one of her screw ups IMHO.

She warned Robb about sending Theon going to the iron islands. That would have saved a lot of trouble if he'd have listened to her

and i made a guess as to why they're fighting. this topic has already been discussed and agreed upon in the damn Hodor thread
i didn't even deliver the theory in here for worries about being called a reader or spoiler, but once he demanded TbC it was pretty obvious and i felt it was fine to comment

i don't even know why they are fighting, 100%. it's my guess. go back to my original comment
