I understand but at this point in the show, very little of the Riverlands are under the crown/LF control.

This is has probably been discussed and I'm not reading through the whole thread. I remember cat receiving the letter about her sister's husband being murdered but what was the significance of it? Did anything happen because of it?

It's the only way LF knew Ned would accept being hand, which set up a chain of events.

Umm, yeah, it said that the Lannisters murdered Jon and that they were plotting on murdering Robert. That is quite literally the only reason Ned really went to King's Landing. LF had to have Ned be the Hand's King if his plans were to succeed.

Oh ok. Thanks to both of you. I thought I remembered Stark agreeing to be the hand because Baratheon kept insisting on it.

How do you figure?
The northern army and most of the Tully host has ben destroyed, only Rivverun is still not loyal to the crown. So the entire land is now under crown control, as is the Stormlands except their capitol.

At this point in the show/book-
The Riverlands:
Riverrun is held by Blackfish Tully
Raventree is held by House Blackwood (Tully loyalist)
StoneHedge is held by House Bracken (Tully loyalist)
Seaguard is held by House Mallister (Tully loyalist)
Twins are held by the Freys
Harrenhal is hardly operational, it is occupied by the Mountain and two dozen of his men. And based on previews from the show, he isn't staying there long.
The country side is the base camp for the Brotherhood without Banners, who are no friends of the crown.
So I don't feel the Riverlands are under the crown's control.

Blackfish hasn't been seen since the Red Wedding, so are we sure he's in Riverrun? He could be in hiding. We also haven't seen Edmure Tully.

Damn, I totally forgot about Blackfish and Edmure. Hope we see something on them soon!

I was thinking something similar when that little bastard threw it away.
