So is Jamie going to quit the Kings Guard now?
on the show who are the 7 members of the Kings Guard?
Jamie, Commander of the King's guard
Meryn Trant
Arys Oakheart, protecting the princess
Who are the other 4? Has Balon Swann been introduced?
Selmy was fired, the hound quit, Pod killed Moore, Preston Greenfield died in the riots.

Were we formally introduced to Arys Oakheart on the show? I can't seem to remember.

Formal introductions I don't know, but his character is listed as apearing in three episodes- season 1 You win or you die; The Pointy End & season 2 The Old Gods and the New
No actor is listed so they will probably recast for next season.

That's what I assumed too.

There is a debate going on in the Hodor thread about the Iron Bank and Westeros debt. What follows is not a spoiler, just a clarification (the debt to the Lannisters was mentioned in Season 1, the debt to the Iron Bank was mentioned in Season 2).
King's Landing/the monarchy is in pretty deep debt to the Lannisters and very deep debt to the Iron Bank of Braavos (debt run up by Robert while he was king). It has never been mentioned in the books nor the show that the Lannisters are in debt. Not only that but Tywin makes sure they live by their House motto of "A Lannister always pays his debts". A common saying mentioned often in the books but hasn't really been mentioned much in the show is that Tywin Lannister is rumored to shite gold.

For show reference, I believe Bronn made mention of that when sparring with Jaime earlier this season.

As Maester Luwin explained to Bran, that is a common misconception. The Lannister's motto is Hear me Roar.

Can't decide which thread I enjoy more. This one or the Hodor thread.
I like the info that the book readers bring to enhance my understanding of the show but at the same time I love the wild speculation of the Hodor thread. It reminds me of lost.

The Wargs because we are gaining an insight to what's going on but without actually knowing what's going on.

ooooooooooooooooh babies become insta-white walker.
Margary is definitely my second favorite character. She's goooooood.
Didn't like them beating up on Hodor.
The convo that Dany's handmaid had with the Grey Worm made me feel like he might turn on her.
I didn't realize that the crows at Crasters had kidnapped Jon's wolf. I thought he was roaming around this whole time.
Very glad we got the Littlefinger/Grandma thing cleared up. He was making me nervous touching on Sansa.
