they're going to waste precious preview time on something as unimportant right now as LF returning to WF? You think that'll happen within the season finale anyway? I think too much is going on in King's Landing for him to make his way back to WF right now especially with the outcome of who holds/takes WF still to be decided.

He plans to attack Winterfell as soon as the Boltons and Stannis fight, so a short scene putting him in place to do that wouldn't take much time to show

Thought the episode was pretty spot on... They don't show Stannis getting a sword to the face though... so he can't be dead.
