favorite scenes?

Any scene with Tyrion slapping/upbraiding Joffrey.

Seriously...Tyrion’s speech at his trial after Shae’s perjured testimony. Possibly the most powerful 5 minutes of the whole series.

Not the most crucial scene, but Tywin skinning a deer in Season One was freaking awesome, and a great example of the dialogue that made the show great.

There were a few like this. Some that weren't even in the books. Everything between Tywin and Arya. Robert and Cersei discussing the 7 kingdoms and their hate for each other. Tywin sending Joffery to bed. Tywin letting Joffery know who's in charge when he demands to be part of the small council meetings.

A lot of these include Tywin.

Charles Dance is awesome.

Great example that D&D can actually be great writers if they try. They just stopped giving a shite at the end

There’s some great ones already listed in this thread.

This scene made me choke up a bit first watch and rewatch- when Oberyn comes and sees Tyrion and says he will fight the Mountain for him. And yes he had ulterior motives but the story he told about meeting Tyrion when he was a baby. Him telling Tyrion he has a disappointment and Tyrion saying in essence well join the club and then O proceeding to tell him how he’d heard of this monster that was born and was so excited to see him but all he saw was this baby, sure maybe head a little big and arms and legs a little small but still just a baby not anything near a monster. Oh and I guess that’s when we found out what a cvnt Cersei was even when she was young.
