If GRRM is still alive, what else are they going to do? Spoil the end? Seems like it'd be great for a miniseries. Have it start at the Tournament at Harrenhal and end at the Tower of Joy/Siege of Dragonstone.

It would be a really good stop gap if they need a year to give GRRM time to finish off the last book.
How many years do we have?
We have next season with the other half of SoS with some of Books 4-5 thrown it.
And then the rest of books 4-5 shouldn't take more than another season.

For the series to have any chance of being complete. They'll need at least 4-5 more seasons before the last book.
And that's stretching GRRM to the limits of his writing speed.

I know that GRRM says he doesn't pay attention to messageboards, but how probable will it be that the R+L=J theory is what he's planned all along? Plus Alfie Allen said it has a very Star Wars-esque plot. No idea why GRRM would reveal his secrets to Theon but stranger things have happened. Especially with the theory that Jojen took Meera to raise and Ned took Jon as his own bastard to keep his promise to Lyanna and so Robert wouldn't kill him...Relating to what Alfie Alen said about there being a "Star Wars twist", Padme died right after birth, and had twins who were separated and didn't find out till many years later.
And I know it's been mentioned before, but do any of y'all think it's than coincidence that Jon, Tyrion, and Dany all having mothers die in childbirth (assuming Lyanna is Jon's mom), and all being somewhat outcasts of society (maybe not so much Dany, but she was "outcast" from Westeros)?

I'm pretty sure they're the three heads, although Tyrion won't be related to them.
