Also, the Boltons can't be good to the Stark's ambitions. I mean, the sigil is a flayed man. Their men rape prisoners who try to escape. It's only a matter of time before something happens there. Just hope Robb makes it out alive somehow.

Almost forgot about the Sandor fight. Dude killed a man with a flaming sword, knowing he's terrified of fire. Pity Arya is his sworn enemy. They could help each other a if she'd let him.

Yeah, he's been dropping a LOT of foreshadowing.

no one should point anything out. Some of them may have close theories. Pointing it out would draw unneeded attention.

Wouldn't Arya and Gendry getting together be the real full circle in the books? The Lyanna look a like and the Robert Baratheon look alike getting together? Arya is a form of proof that Jon Snow isn't Ned's bastard and Gendry is proof that Joffrey, Tommen, and Myrcella are Cersei's bastards.

Just finished the episode one of the best yet. Had something for everyone. Jaime and Jon's arse for the ladies. Ygritte for the dudes and Brienne if you are into that. Flaming sword fights and awesome scenes. We are finally seeing new and improved Jaime and its awesome.

Robb is alot like his father in killing Karstark but Ned would have never been in that situation because he would have married the Frey girl and been so far up Tywin's arse he could grab some gold.

Is Loras' new boy toy the same guy who played Octavian Caesar in Rome?

I hate to drop this bomb on everyone because you won't be able to get it out of your head but Gendry looks like he could be a Baldwin brother.

I thought the unsullied would be bigger and do yall think Strong Belwas is going to be in the series?

ETA: Oh and Shireen's prophecy song was one of the creepiest things I have ever heard

How so? In the books they look the most alike out of any of the Stark children.

I don't think Arya will ever get married.

gotcha that makes sense. They also said Jon and Ned shared a lot of facial features but I guess that can be played off as coming from Lyanna's genes

what you are doing IS NOT HELPING!! There are no spoilers in that thread, everything went smooth, but now because of your one post, they are going to be flipping out about spoilers. There were no spoilers, there were references made by people, but it's out of hand because of people like you who feel the need to white knight in the thread. Do you think you are the lone ranger? That no one else paid attention to their posts but you?

You didn't help anybody, now they know the "theories" in the thread are spoilers, thanks to you. Think about it.

Napoleon is right just because we see some of their theories as spoilers the non book readers don't. All of their theories are just that until you say there is spoilers then they know some of it is correct.

So i take it we wont have patchface in the show? The girl will take his place? And i always pictured her as pretty nasty looking from the way the books descibe her but shes a cute kid.

Excellent episode. This show is definitely hitting on all cylinders.

I don't mind them combining some of the patchface stuff with Shireen. And yeah, she comes across a lot better/more likable on the show than the impression I had from the book. But I don't mind that either.

For the person asking about soap upthread - Brienne was definitely using something to scrub with. Jamie even jokingly mentioned to her that she was scrubbing so hard she was like to take some skin off.

One thing I noticed from this episode that I never did in either the books or the show up to this point - Arya seemed almost coming close to a little self pity in that conversation she had with Dondarion about how she would wish his fate on her father because he'd still be alive. Up to this point, she's been pretty much stone cold. Kind of the anti Danny with respect to whining. But that seen seemed to come a bit close to the line.

She is still a kid so I don't mind that she does that from time to time. We all know she stays pretty bad arse throughout the books. Dany on the other hand just whines a lot and needs to break Jorah off.

That would be awesome . I know a lot of people don't think Arya would ever get married, but I definitely think she had feelings for Gendry and vice versa. He did say she'd be his "milady."

I was kind of undecided if Gendry was saying she'd be his 'milady as in someone he loved. Or as in someone in a different station than him - ie: nobility vs. smallfolk. (I know he's Robert's bastard son but I'm not sure if that makes him nobility in SOI&F culture).
