Which is weird because I thought patchface would be a fairly important character with some huge hidden identity.

I don't think so, he's pretty much just there for forshadowing in the book.

He's another one that can be combined with another character IMO (Shireen for example). As said, he's mostly there in foreshadowing and with ties to the whole Drowned God deal which the show hasn't touched on much at all.

I think Patchface has to be in the show, at some point. I just wonder when he'll be introduced.

I think Patchface plays a role in the coming books, which is why I don't think they can totally write him out of the show. If he doesn't show up in the show, then frick THE SHOW FOR SOILING PATCHFACE FOR ME!

This is exactly what he meant (at the time)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I got the impression from the book the Dondarrion was basically a zombie by the time he had been "raised" for the 5th+ time.

I was surprised when he said that he had been raised 6 times.

Yea I caught that I love the little Easter eggs the writers throne in for the book readers. Almost like they're saying "no, you bastards, we didn't forget about him. We just didn't have room"

Yeah in the book they described him as being pretty decrepit.

Definitely confirms my theory that Stoneheart is going to be much different on the show than she was in the book. May not even appear much different at all except for the scratches on her face and probably the scar on her throat.

Fantastic episode yet again. The past two have been possibly the best back to back in the series.

Hound vs. Lightning Lord was so good. Love the shout outs to Ned Stark that he's been getting the past two episodes. Reminding everyone how important he is. Can't wait to see Hound and Arya on the road together. Hound is really one of my favorite characters in the show the way they're handling him.

Beric's IOU to The Hound

Saw some people complaining about Barristan keeping the Jorah info hidden for now, but it really makes perfect sense. Dany clearly has complete trust in Jorah. She just met Barristan. If he dropped a bomb like that now, Dany may not buy it. He needs to earn her trust first. And Jorah trying to feel out Barristan to see what he knows was pretty funny. Shows that Barristan has a bit of game playing in him as well by not showing his cards.

Interested to see what will drive him to tell her though, since in the book it's Jorah revealing him as The Bold, who served the Usurper, which Dany already knows in the show.

Tywin continues to be a mothafrickin BOSS. That scene was so badass, and the addition of trying to marry Cersei off to Loras was hilarious. Interested to see how Loras gets in to the Kingsguard now. I guess Cersei will manipulate Joff into doing it to impress Margarey.

LF dropping the dime on the Tyrell plans to marry Sansa to Loras to ensure that Tywin would stop it and ensure Sansa would want to leave with him.

Jaime's bathtub scene

Only question, though, hadn't Jaime told that story before in the show?? Did he say that to Robert or Cat at some point?? Could have sworn we've heard at least some of that before.

Robb taking Casterly Rock Another great addition by the show IMO. Really adds to his character and makes the viewers feel like he's about to make a comeback

And the Karstark scene, so good.

Shireen teaching Davos to read!! Handled so well. That actress is adorable. So great. And I for one am glad that Patchface appears to be out now with Shireen singing the prophecies. We don't need that weirdo. Much more palatable coming from a cute sick kid.

This show is so damn on point. Loving it.

This was the scene where barristan and robert were talking about old war stories/first kills

Ok cool. Thought it sounded somewhat familiar.

I think this was it. He was saying they would never be a close family cause she would always be above him. I liked all the "aww so sweet" reactions from those that saw it the other way though.

I think it may have been a little bit of both. Mostly that she was of a higher station then him though (if you remember back when she "reveals" that she's a girl he all freaks out and is like "I should've been calling you milady").

Yeah I definitely did not think Gendry was saying m'lady as sweet nothings to Arya.

Gendry is so much older than her it would be too weird

Ohhh I see. Nevermind . I still think that Arya is very saddened to lose both him and Hot Pie though. They became her friends.

Napoleon-eman5805 is a book reader. He's not getting lucky when he posts " I'm calling it tywin lannister is going to die."

That's a blatant spoiler and he's been posting "theories" for two weeks now.

I don't call attention to his posts just that there's inappropriate material for non-readers in an 11 page thread not who or where. Not saying anything just encourages him to keep going.

Just RA him. Calling him out in the thread points out the spoilers. Then the non-readers know its a spoiler not a theory.
