Good news! Season 2 is forthcoming. Returning Tennant and Sheen and airing in 2022.

The sequel to the original novel, 668: The Neighbour of the Beast, was never finished, and Gaiman told us that the show's first season also used a number of details from that narrative in the series. "[Things like] expanding into heaven and hell," he said. "Gabriel (Jon Hamm) is not in the book, but he and the other angels, and a bunch of the other demons, come from all the conversations Terry Pratchett and I had about what we would do in a second book.

Finally watched this, what a great show and knocked it out in two days, I was up way too late last night finishing it. It’s so clever and such a good mix of ridiculousness, seriousness, heartfelt moments, and witty banter. Heck I would watch a whole series just on all of the antics Ezekiel and Crowley got up to throughout history and how much they impacted the world.
Ezekiel giving the flaming sword to Adam and Eve and then they immediately use it to kill a lion had me rolling

Tenant & Sheen are possibly the most cerebral comedic duo of our time.
LOVE the two of them together.
Glad I wasn't losing my mind. I read Good Omens in 1998 or so and didn't recall some of those plot twists.
Homegirl who played Anathema could get it:

Hell yeah, forgot about the revival
Season 1 is such a fun watch, hoping they just let Sheen and Tennant cook in a similar fashion on this one

Another series diminished with forced LGBTQ storylines.

I don't want to be "that guy", but I don't think that S1 came close to doing justice to the book. The Sheen/Tennant scenes were really good, but the show was sub par when they weren't on screen.
The kids were all pretty annoying. I didn't care for any of the horsemen. The acting wasn't very good, especially from War (who was sexy as frick, but was WAY too hammy). I think that's in part because the director was trying to be too cool/clever (Pratchett) instead of playing it more serious (Gaiman) and simply letting the writing provide the humor. The camerawork + music is too in-your-face about how awesome/intense the scenes are supposed to be instead of just letting them happen naturally. This show done by someone like Noah Hawley (Fargo) could have been one of the GOATs.
It looked like they had a decent budget for the show, but large portions of it felt CW/Hallmark channel level production.
Those are my thoughts on S1. Unless it gets rave reviews, I'm not tuning in for S2. I get that it is based on some (VERY LIMITED) ideas from Pratchett/Gaiman, but if such a phenomenal book produced only an above average series, then I expect very little for S2.
