I'm intrigued, seems like a good direction to go with Egon following Ramis' death.
I expect the other Ghostbusters will show up in the 2nd or 3rd act as a surprise to help the new crew fight the baddie (possibly Shandor/Gozer again?). We might get a glimpse of them in the final trailer, but I'd actually prefer not to. Just include Slimer or something instead if you must

I have a feeling that the creature that lands on the car and growls is a Terror Dog from the 1st Ghostbusters.
Also looks like they were chasing Slimer around the town, they blurred him out a good bit

I think it was a terror dog. Looks like it's possible there is a temple top Gozer in this town. Egon went there top be closer and something happened.
