Do the leaks sound promising? I have my doubts, but just in case

If everything goes down like that leak says it does, it's gonna be fricking insane.

Yeah, I don't plan on reading them either. Just hope it turns out epic!

We know Cersei is killed by the Valonquar. Valonquar = Little Brother.
It doesn't say whose little brother though, just a little brother.

I think Jaime would be fine. Remember that Aerys also killed Jon's uncle and grandfather. He's not going to all of a sudden think Aerys was a great king.
I think it's important to consider that Jon would almost certainly do what Ned would do. Regardless of Jamie's redemption arc, he betrayed his vows, killed his king, and attempted to kill Bran. Jaime's just sentence would be death or the wall, if there is no Wall to send him to, someone fetch Jon a block.

Isn't valonqar gender neutral though?

I have seen that idea/speculation but I don't think so. Because there is a specific High Valyrian word for little sister, Haedar. Valonqar is only used in the text as little brother and vala seems to denote male.
I only know this because I spent a while trying to derive/speculate on Azor Ahai, then remembered that it isn't even Valyrian.

I think it most certainly means little brother. However that doesn't mean Arya couldn't face change to look like Tommen or another little brother

I wonder if George realized how many cans of worms he opened with warging, seeing the future, glamours, face changing, resurrection, etc..
We can't say with complete confidence than anyone is dead. There are theories that exist, with solid evidence, that pretty much any given character is still alive and/or under a false identity.
Just a few examples:
Mance = Rhaegar
Half hand = Dayne
Mance = Dayne
HS = HR
Lemore = Ashara
Lemore = Lyanna
Hound = Gravedigger
Euron = Daario
Daario = Benjen
Benjen = Coldhands
Bran = Bran the builder
Tyrion time traveling fetus
Jon still alive
Mance still alive (show)
Aegon
fAegon
Literally thousands of potential plot directions.

But Jon isn't exactly like Ned...
He had a sexual relationship while in the Watch after all...and his brothers 'killed' him because they thought he broke his vows by getting involved in Westerosi politics.
Jon isn't killing Jaime y'all.

It sounds promising because it's a huge pander to book readers, which is why I don't buy it

Yeah, it's hard to believe the show doesn't change things up more than that.

I'm shocked by how many people love Lady Stoneheart. She's a minor character that has contributed nothing to the story (so far) other than shock value. George RR Martin is already struggling to finish the series. The last thing the story needs is to re-open plot arcs that have already been resolved.

They're literally just getting to the LSH part of the books in the show

1.) Joffery
2.) Ramsey
3.) Caitlyn stark

Hopefully the show runners put Loras Tyrell down this season. Really a shame what they did to him in show.
