Yea, they might have the Hound show up this season, but they need to explain some shite about where he's been to the Hodors.

I'm fully convinced that they're going to breach the Wall in the finale after that fricker Olly stabs Jon.

That's a little premature. I don't think the Others will make it to the Wall until next season.

Lol at Rattleshirt. Makes his way back into show, gets beaten to death immediately. I wonder if they burned him in time?

I was kind of thinking that Rattleshirt may have been Mance until they beat him to death.

We know that there are still people who can work Valyrian Steel since Ice was broken down and turned into two separate swords. And while rarer than a typical sword, can still be found.

The important point to remember is that Valaryian steel can be reforged, but no one knows how to make Valaryian steel. Yet.

Anyone else think the Wildling chick was a goner when she told her daughters she'd meet them on the ship? My thoughts were "oh she's fricked."

For the next episode, the Night's King should hold his own small council meeting in the ruins of Hardhome. Among his Lieutenants, Varys should also be seated and nodding in approval.

I don't see Valyrian steel being the answer to the White Walkers issue. I think Dragon glass will be the solution they go for in both the books and the show. Valyrian steel will stay rare and the major houses will have one. The question is, what will the Starks have at the end? Will Sansa claim Baelish's dagger as the valyrian steel for House Stark, will Bran give House Stark the sword that Bloodraven has or will Ice be reforged?

The entire internet is going to implode when Jon gets killed after that bad arse portrayal.

She has Valyrian and she has a wolf (atleast in my scenario)
Needle isn't Valyrian steel, but the wolf dreams are definitely going to play a part.

So, that scene took 5 weeks to film? It was nice, but I don't see what could have made it take so long - unless they were just waiting for the weather to be right and then advertised the "5 weeks" bit to make themselves look like master film craftsmen.

And kinda-sorta Val was kinda-sorta a dumbass. They spent several minutes of precious screen time developing her and letting us know that she's yet another badass chick. Then, they shattered it all by showing us that she's an idiot who won't kill zombie children, and would rather pointlessly die because of some emotional bullshite attachment to children who are no longer humans, let alone children.

Arya and Cersei's stories are progressing as expected. I thought Arya might kill Trant this episode, but they seem to have set up the murder of the insurance guy instead. I think they'll have her kill him as a show of her increasing skill as an assassin, but that she will then kill Trant for personal reasons, prompting the blindness.

It was interesting that they showed scenes from "Final 2 Episodes" for this one. Why do you suppose they would do that?

Brienne has half of Ice and she is in the north.

And I think that portrayal sets it up even better. His loyalty and faith in the rest of the Night's Watch being his downfall and the reason he will be able to walk away from them and do what he needs to do. He even mentioned that he left orders so they will be followed whether he is there or not, bullshite.

was that supposed to be Val? I didn't get that at all. Did the books make Val out to be a natural beauty that was pretty undeniably beautiful?
