We won't see Vargo Hoat. He's going back to Haranhall and will have his hand cut off by the man you saw tonight

You forget about his first and greatest trick on Theon then.

How is there someone on TD with over 50,000 posts since 2004 with a username I don't recognize?

Must be the lack of sig/avatar pics.

Yeah, the calm "I already know what you know" attitude of Jojen was great.

I was fine with it for the most part, since I think even with a young child that she despised, if she saw him in suffering she would probably want him spared. Cat isn't a monster. They should have never added the bit about legitimizing him though.

To look more deeply at it, she made the promise to the gods when she was desperate but because the character is staying true, she didn't go through with it. I have no problem with the way that played out since in the end it didn't change anything important.

In a very real way it fleshes her out more. She's a smart woman, and being smart she knows it's irrational for her to hate Jon for being a bastard but she just can't help herself because deep down she feels slighted and it's easier to blame the child than her husband. She feels so slighted that she wished him dead when he was just a baby, but when he got sick she changed her mind out of guilt. With that, her disposition toward Jon is now also not just because he represents her husband's infidelity but is a constant reminder that she can't overcome her own irrationality in this.

Was jazzed to see the Reed's show up. Looking forward to see how their stronghold looks.

Was wondering when Shae was going to start with the "my lion of Lannister" stuff.

I'll be super shocked if that wasn't Ramsay that let Theon go. We all know what will happen next so we know Ramsay will show up eventually, if that wasn't him.

I thought Sansa didn't spill the beans until their jester was singing the bear song? Or am I thinking about a later conversation?

Really digging how they are playing Margery. I always felt she was much smarter that was let on at this point in the book.

So the Catelyn scene was okay for me with where I expect her story to go.

Not so bold prediction:

Undead Catelyn will find Greywater watch in the swamp of the Neck...

There Howland Reed will tell her the truth about Jon Snow and what really happened at the Tower of Joy.

Fraught with guilt she sets out to inform Jon of his Targaryen/Stark blood.

Jon will go on to absolutely wreck shite in the war against the others.

Ok, I'm here.

First off, the guy that said he would free Theon IS Ramsay. There is no debate. That is Iwan Rheon

2nd, the Cat monologue was necessary to create conversation about Jon's mother.

I thought it was a great episode. Everything is set up perfectly.

GREAT point. TV only viewers don't know any of the back story. They need to start building that.
