People certainly seem to be passionate about it.

I should re-read the book. I just have a few dozen other books on my kindle to get to.

If you follow that link and go to the parent directory, there are those for every chapter. You won't get everything, but maybe just a reminder, from each chapter and each book. Its really cool.

I am supposed to be patching a wall in my house and hanging drywall. I can't get sucked into that now. Lol

I get too carried away on this GOT stuff.

Had he not married Jayne, would the Freys still ahve killed him? I know lord Frey wanted the riverlands, but having a daughter marry the king may be even better.

Plus if Tywin gives the Freys the Riverlands, what becomes of littlefinger?
I want to know if Sansa will be married to give control to Winterfell to Linttlefinger.

This season should be good, and will only get better from here on.

1) In the books, the girl he married was from a house owing allegiance to the Lannisters. A house in which the women had a history of using magic to have men fall in love with them.

It's a long shot but there is a possibility that Tywin had a hand in this.

2) Jon was winning battles but losing the war, regardless of the marriage. The Boltons were going to turn regardless. The Karstarks were envious of the Starks. I can see Walder Frey taking the oportunity to betray Jon, who may or may not be King in order to winn favor with the family who sits on the throne.

3) Littlefinger was given Harenhal by Joffrey. Tywin made a deal with Walder Frey for the Riverlands. It's quite probable neither knew of the other's decision. Now both are dead. Joffrey's gift was made in open court. Tywin's was never fromalized (that I know of). I'd bet that Walder Frey is SOL.

4) It seems like the Lannister's plan was to marry fake Arya to the Boltons in order to secure the North. Littlefinger seems to be trying to rally the Vale (and then the North) to his side and will likely be pitted against the Lanisters if he ever lays claim to Winterfell.

I have to get out of here now. Can't wait for Sunday night.

He didn't know how to play the game and was too trusting. Stannis doesn't play either but luckily he has Mel and Davos on his side.

I don't think Davos would be good at playing the game, not sure about Mel.

I have read the books, once, quickly, and did not know this.

The wizard girl that tried to kill Dany at the docks, was that in the book? I don't remember any blue-lips activity after the dragons burned them and their hive down.

there was an assassination attempt by the warlocks in the book. may not have gone down like that with the pokemon ball however

quote:

a man comes up and gives her a box with an emerald inside. As Daenerys opens it, the man gives his apologies as the emerald reveals itself to be a creature with an almost human face and an arched tail with a venomous stinger. Suddenly, the box flies out of her hand. All is confusion for a few moments as Aggo and Jhogo arrive and apprehend the two men that were following. Daenerys orders them released. The man who gave her the box was a Sorrowful Man, and the creature within was a manticore. The old man saved her by knocking it out of her hand and killing it.

Younger Westerlings seem to have loved/favored Robb while witch mother schemed with Tywin

quote:

Jeyne went into mourning, to the chagrin of her mother, who had been in secret negotiations with Lord Tywin Lannister. Unknown to Jeyne, her mother had given her potions against pregnancy under the pretense of a fertility potion. Riverrun was besieged shortly after but the siege was settled peacefully by Ser Jaime Lannister. He had Jeyne returned to her father back at the Crag. To avoid tales that her dead husband had given her a child (and thus an heir), Jeyne was to remain unmarried for two years and was given a strong escort of soldiers with secret instructions to kill her if there would be any attempt to kidnap her.

quote:

Jeyne has two brothers and a sister. Her elder brother Raynald was present at the Red Wedding. He freed Grey Wind, and tried to escape the Freys by jumping in the river. He is presumed dead.[8] Her younger brother Rollam served as Robb's squire.[1] Her younger sister is Eleyna. Eleyna and Jeyne are both to marry lords or heirs, as negotiated between their mother and Tywin Lannister

Westerling women had history of herb lore and love potions

quote:

The exact nature of the service Sybell Westerling did for the Lannisters is still unclear. That she set up her daughter with Robb so that his marriage alliance with the Freys would be broken and the Freys would have a reason to ally with the Lannisters seems likely. As Sybell's grandmother "Maggy" was a witch, Sybell demonstrated knowledge of herbs by making contraceptives for Jeyne, and love potions were among the things that citizens of Lannisport went to Maggy for according to Kevan's recollection, it is plausible that Sybell knew how to make a love potion and saw to it that Robb was slipped one while Jeyne was tending to his wounds at the Crag.

Can't read jeyne theories without reminding everyone that jeyne is described differently by both catelyn and jamie. Significant because there is only one reason I can think of why they would put an imposter jeyne on display for Jaime - the real jeyne is preggers.

Yeah but there is no way in hell this thing drags out long enough for Robb Stark's children to have an impact.

Hell Rickon is barely old enough to have impact.
