I don't think the Others get past the wall.
I think Stannis and his men will use the red god to repell them and win over the north.
The North will rally behind the cause.
Rickon will regain power in a rebuilt winterfell. Bolton's and the Karstarks will go the way of the Lord of Castamere.
I have no idea about the south. How the heck is this going to wrap up in two more books? I read 12 book series that had less info than this.

The sellsword kills them all, thus taking over the kingdom, the gold and (possibly) absolving himself of any sin (see: Henry VIII).

Frick off JB, I was actually unclear on whether that person, now known to be Ramsey by us, had said Theon's sister or father had sent him. This was said on the show, btw.

Agreed. I have read/seen interviews where he talks about in writing the first couple books the story just kept getting more and more elaborate and he just went with it. GRRM has known since the 1980's how the whole story is going to go and so has gotten bored with it. So what does he do to entertain himself while producing this story that has grown bored of? Write a bunch of filler and make up shite and go off on tangents..
Overall I think he's a lazy POS for not wanting to get down and finish this series in a timely manner. Either that or the ultimate troll.

I don't get him either. It takes a long time for books to get out.
I read a lot of Harry Turtledove too and he has quite a few series, and every one has been at most a year or two wait for the next book.
