Not if they set their sights on Tommen (which they did).

Why the hell are you still in that thread anyway manwich?
I understand you, unlike OMLandouche, are trying to help, but the mere presence of anyone on Hugo's snitch list seems to drive them crazy. I'm avoiding posting there like it would give my computer the clap if I were to interact with that thread.

Some scattered thoughts on the episode:
- I thought they did a good job casting the Blackfish. And the actor did a good job with the role. For some reason, ever since I read the Wiki description of him (tall and lean with a hoarse smoky voice ... hair turned grey, etc.) I pictured Sam Elliot. Well, except for the accent of course. But I think they pegged it pretty good with the guy they chose.
- I thought the Pod scenes were a good change of pace. I know they may be setting things up but I thought they were well placed just for a change of pace and a little humor. (Though it makes me sad thinking of his meeting with that bitch UnCat and the Brotherhood).
- Speaking of those Tyrion/Littlefinger scenes: What's the consensus on Littlefinger's job as Master of Coin (or whatever they call it). I always kind of got the impression that, while he did borrow a lot, he was really good at the finances of the kingdom and that it was Robert's spending (and then Cersi/Joffrey's) that caused the problem. But from the episode I could see they might try to paint it as him always just using smoke and mirrors to give the impression that he was a good finance minister.
- I haven't really had any problems with any changes from the book so far. But I have to admit that the bit about Melisandre going off to the Riverlands has me a bit apprehensive. Doesn't seem to fit the book narrative at all. If it's only to try to use Gendry for "king's blood" I don't mind that too much. But I really wouldn't like her to meet up with any of the players in that part of Westeros.

I don't remember the Pod subplot from the books. Anyone want to refresh my memory?

Is it me, or is Margaery marrying Tommen going to be weird?? Isn't Tommen like 8 years old?? And TV show Margaery looks like she's in her mid 20s.

Tommens only been shown a few times, an older actor can replace him and show watchers wont notice

Perhaps once word of Pod's legendary whoring reaches the ears of UnCat she will choose an alternative means of dealing with him.

Didn't Littlefinger secretly start to mix in cheaper metals with the gold coins and that's how he was able to be such a great finance minister
