Wtf....
Coco doesn't even understand the direwolf/stark connection?
That how the god damn show started for fricks sake!
First 15 miuntes of 23 shows. Yet, he "pays attention" to detail.

The dude constantly complains that character names in shows are spoilers, his level of obtuseness is apparently only rivaled by his poor powers of observation.

Best post of the night in the non-reader thread:

It would be like your kid opening up a bike, having it put together, and then still not knowing wtf it is. Then dad says its a bike your moron.

Yep...and most of them don't see the harm in that. I - along with a few others - do.
If you feel that way, don't post in the thread either. posting in the thread to stay "posting in this thread is wrong/stupid" is posting in it.
The main dude there has no idea about the damn Direwolves. I mean the first scene*(not counting prologue)of the first episode of the first season was the kids getting their Direwolves.

Well, I needed a sig quote some day, this is as good as any since I'm mainly over here

But he pays close attention to the show, and that's why he can call others out on being book readers for knowing clear things that he missed.

I guess we now know why Coco thinks everything is a spoiler, he doesn't know what the frick this whole series is even about. For fricks sake, and he's the one riling them all up?

Yeah. I'm done in there. I hope everyone else is as well. Lets just let them bask in their ignorance.
That really was a great episode tonight. I think season 3 has been damn strong so far and I'm really starting to trust the writers.

That is my official policy as well.
Rewatching now and Tyrion just said Myrenese Knot.

good god...just once I would love to read this thread and not have over half the post be bitching about one thread or the other...
I thought this episode was great. It really set up a good bit of shite coming up soon plus I think the Blackfish was perfect. The chair scene was a great psuedo chess match between the council, tyrion, and cersei. I like that they are trying to set up the bastard as a hero before he eventually destroys Theon. Just the first five minutes were making me chuckle with Edmure's ineptitude being showcased well.
I still say that this show is a mindfrick in terms of time. How the hell is that an hour?

That was a great little jab at the book readers...
I can see GRRM calling up the creators and just saying "you know what man? frick you I'm trying here"

I just watched it so I havent read through this thread but how awesome was the Bear and Maiden Fair at the end of the show? Anyone know who sang it? Sounded like Flogging Molly to me.
Theon is about to be a world of hurt. Tobias Menzies was cast well as Tully. The Blackfish is exactly how I pictured him in the book.
Dany is about to go ape on some slavers.

I was kind of glad they didn't have the fool yelling that song last episode. It was much better being introduced to that song by Beric and his men, imo.
Posted on 4/15/13 at 1:00 am to Napoleon
My copy had a recorded version of the song from earlier in the show, right before Jaimie loses his hand.
I liked the Pod scene, that was pretty good.

I thought the same. Was going how is it over already? It's only been thirty minutes, hasn't it?
