The battle between Euron and Jamie wasted too much time, Jamie has been a throw away since he lost his hand.

I really am bummed about the Cersei/Jaime death, I would have rather Jaime walked up on her pinned under some castle rubble and have to give her a mercy killing while in tears, and then him succumb to his wounds.

Dany is a fricking badass. Did what she needed to do in order to send a message and get the job done. It's not pretty but it's the only way to ensure her enemies fall and everyone falls in line. Exactly like Aegon the Conqueror.

Save for moments of brilliance, which might just seem so compared to how they act now, it seems like every character on the show has become a bit more primitive and brutish in their thinking and motivation.
Remember when Cersei, through some underhandedness and dealing, managed to help get the Robert killed and Ned outflanked in Season One?
Now Cersei spent the battle watching from a balcony while a dragon flew around burning everything without having ANY backup plan.
