That's foreshadowing future character development. Dany was always meant to go mad and burn the place down

This is probably why Kit Harringtons wife was pissed and wouldn't speak to him after finding out how the season ended.

Arya is a bad arse who can slip past white walkers one episode, now she’s a terrified little girl.
It’s honestly astounding how much they have derailed.

Show was great tv entertainment.
However, writing and character development is absolutely shite
I agree. I fully expect DT reason for burning then city next week was her finding out Jon had a side piece.

Thank you, because this is the only rationalization I could fathom for what happened.
- First, absolutely incredible cinematography and score. Major probs to the director.
- Gold company was meaningless
-Was ready for mad Dany but that felt so wrong. Completely threw away her story line. I get risking her/drogons life because she’s angry, but indiscriminately killing innocent/HER OWN people is absurd.
- Euron stumbling up on the beach in the exact spot at the exact time of Jaime was ridiculous, but I loved that Jaime killed Euron.
-loved clegane bowl and him throwing qyburn.
-Arya falling apart was ridiculous and goes against the decision to have her kill the NK
- not even gunna discuss Jaime and cersei dying together. Killed Jaime’s arc.
- Jon has a biggggggg episode coming up.

most clever character in the entire series look stupid.
Ummm... he came up with a way to save the whole city.. and it worked!
Too bad for him Dany went mad queen. Tyrion played all the right shots. He did what he could do and will now die for it.

Now Tyrion gets to inherit a mined-out 'Rock for his troubles, too.
You'd think he learned from Ned Stark's folly.
Oh well.

I’m glad we had Cleganebowl finally.

I mean, she literally crucified for miles the highborn in Mereen. She’s always been capable of being ruthless and has only been held in check by reasonable people like Jorah and Tyrion.

They were trying to give the viewer a ground level view of the horror through Arya’s eyes when they didn’t realize this is the same girl that has seen and killed death incarnate.
Makes no sense.

Arya is terrified as a dragon obliterates the entire area around her and scores of people are being cooked.

This is gonna be one of the worst ways a show will finish. This is Dexter level bad last season.
Jesus some of you are seriously touched if you think this is as bad as Dexter becoming a lumberjack.

I loved this episode. But the Golden Company was hyped as some elite force and they fell to shite instantly. Granted it was by a dragon, but we never even got to see them actually fight in a large scale. Once the leader got speared in the back very quickly, that was it.

Seeing and killing evil is different than watching women and children die.

Her best friend getting decapitated, Varys betraying her, and Cersei putting her in a box did her in sadly

Someone around here compared the ending to True Blood. They’re absolutely absurd.

The golden company IS an elite force in the books.
