How would Jaime react? What would have been believable? This was always going to be a major, uncomfortable moment for Jaime, regardless of what it is for Bran. Bad writing would be if Jaime just didn't care and his arrival created no tension whatsoever.

So I was thinking, who was that dude that saved the mountain from dying after he crushed that spanish dudes skiull? Whatever he did, the mountain had blue face afterwards...just like the Night King. Was that same dude in King's Landing when the Targareans were there? Maybe he saved a Targarean who then went up north, and started building an army to return later. i.e. use the same magic to turn the dead into walkers.
