That's fine, doesn't mean it's above criticism. Dany's reaction was just for people who started watching the show last week. And why even tell her that right before the battle? Everything is being rushed and the writing is suffering for it.

I think we will all look back on this episode more fondly after it’s all wrapped up. It was great seeing the various groups sit around and talk before the battle.
