So ... once a baby is turned into a WW by the NK ... I guess we can only assume that the baby continues to grow into a full-grown being?

And ... then once fully grown ... do they basically live until killed ... or, does a WW (other than the NK) have a lifespan ?

There were some things that bugged me, and I do feel like the show's tone has changed this season...but that was a pretty damn badass episode last night. I loved it.

It was cool having so many important characters together on screen at the same time. Also loved how awkward that whole scene was for most of the time. It was also cool to see so many people who have been paired up in the past all together again and not only happy to see each other, but weirded out because a lot of them are now on opposing sides.

Really hope we get a Hound/Mountain standoff. That has been building for a while now, and they better pay it off.

I said last week that Cersei wouldn't give a single frick bout the wight. That whole mission was a waste, and she is just using it to gain an advantage over her enemies.
Interested to see her and Jaime now. I am not sure if he just totally gave up on her though.

The scene with Tyrion, Cersei, and the Mountain was awesome.

I was surprised more people at the dragon pit weren't in awe of the dragons. I know they've heard of them, but that is one thing. Seeing that big bastard land on the walls and climb down should've made them shite their pants since most of them have never seen them before, on top of the fact that they haven't existed in hundreds of years (or more).

The Bran/Sam scene was annoying as frick...
Bran: I am the three-eyed raven. I know everything.
........why are you here, Sam Tarley?

What the frick? Don't say you know everything and then ask why he's there. And then also don't say shite about Jon that is completely wrong (that he is a Sand since he is a Dornish bastard), right after telling him that you know everything and can see everything (even specifically mentioning the past). It just felt horribly written and kinda stupid. But at least we got a solid payoff of Bran finally mentioning that Jon is the rightful heir to the throne, and that he's a Targaryen....right as he begins to bang his aunt.

It's annoying that Jon's name is supposed to be Aegon. There are already several Aegon's in the Targ tree...they could've named him something less confusing.

I was actually on the edge of my seat during the Theon/Jon scene and was wondering if Theon was going to try to kill him. I was glad that didn't happen, and that it was just a set up for Theon's redemption to begin. The fight scene with Theon and that dude was pretty stupid though. The whole tongue-in-cheek joke that Theon has no dick felt cheesy and juvenile for some reason. And the look on his face was hilariously terrible.

Thought the end scene was cool, but man those WWs are slow as hell. I really hope Tormund made if down those stairs in time. I assume he did, as he seems like someone who deserves a decent death scene and not just sort dying like any old extra when the Wall falls.

Does anybody know why these last two seasons are cut short? I assume it is maybe budget reasons, but everything feels so rushed this season, and there is still a lot that needs to be sorted out next season and only six (I think) episodes to do it.

Sam wasn't even paying attention when Gilly of all people was telling him some very important shite.

Sam just blew it off and made his little rant about the Maester's shits.

But then Sam is all over it when Bran brings up the Jon/Targ stuff.

Hopefully, next season, Bran will actually do more with his powers.

I really like your show reviews but I differ on this scene, I thought it was an awesome line and very funny. I think it showed 2 things: 1) Bran is really a freak now with very little self-recognition of his old self which makes interaction with other humans sometime awkward, sometimes confusing, and sometimes amusing.

2) How Bran is limited, he isn't all knowing, in fact he can even be flat out wrong until he sees the full picture. And he has a long way to go to really harness his powers.

I took it as he was using it as a test, he knows who Sam is, but he doesn't know him. He didn't say he knew everything did he? He said he remembered everything. I could be wrong, only watched it once so far.

Bran is all seeing, he isn't all knowing. he can see everything, he doesn't know everything. He can see everything, he just has to know where to look.

Before this season I've always thought this was a well done show, but I've never really been that invested in it.

This season however was a fricking blast and I can't wait until next season. Some of the most entertaining TV I've ever seen.

I felt the same way. Theon is just a creepy mofo. His fight scene was terrible, though, and I can't believe those soldiers are suddenly going to follow him. They should have just killed Theon off earlier.

That's not what Bran said. He said he can 'see things in the past and things happening now all over the world.' He's never claimed complete omniscience, he's just able to go learn things first hand, like he did with the Rhaegar/Lyanna wedding. I thought that scene was great and love Bran's complete deadpan knowledge dropping.

Also wish they had given Jon a different name.

I find Rhaegar to be maybe the most compelling character in the entire GOT universe. Would love to see his story in some sort of prequel (too late for expanded flashbacks), but too bad I already know the outcome.

The ice dragon sure made short work of the wall. That seemed too easy and how are they all not fricked now with that sort of breach?

Could Dany/Tyrion have played things any worse? They should have taken King's Landing and the throne ASAP, then dealt w/ the invading undead. The expedition north brought down the wall, all in the futile hope of getting Cersie to join their side. Even if she had, they never could have trusted her not to double cross them (obviously, since she already has).

It was a terrific episode. Did not expect anything less from a season finale. Kind of annoyed that the season is over already.

I assume accelerated growth then immortal, like a Vampire in vampire series that have vampire babies.

IDK, books didn't touch the subject. All we know about the Others, I mean the White Walkers we know from the TV show. No Maester is wiser than any hodor in this regard.

I liked the Bran scene. He THOUGHT he knew everything and Sam pointed out something he didn't know. A huge huge point. That without a shadow of a doubt, Jon Snow, aka Aegon Targaryen (like 45th of his name?) is the king.

what killed me most about this season, is that I heard the terms "boatsex" and "ice dragon" thrown around weeks ago.

I now know how the Hodors felt all those years.

He didn't say he knows everything. He says he CAN see everything. As shown, it does take time for him to "view" things though. There are many things for him to "view" in order to gain knowledge. One would think an unknown possible marriage would not be something he was chasing on the hopes of it happenning.

More thankful than ever for the Hodor thread. I didn't see any spoilers, although apparently someone posted one spoiler last week but it was quickly whacked.

Which raises an interesting issue. WIll John/Danny be smart enough to have Bran "see" Euron's actions? Will Jamie tell them what he knows and have Bran verify it? Would seem to make sense.....

Thanking about Jamie and his potential to give away her plans makes Cersie's decisionn not to have the Mountain kill him even more suspect.

Yeah, I assume Jamie is going to spill the beans about Cersei, so she can't just let him leave.

But, now with the wall down, I am not sure any of that matters. Dany and Jon and everyone who lives north of KL needs to go deal with the undead army ASAP, with or without Cersei. Cersei DGAF, so whether she pretends to go along or just outright says she's going to take all the lands she can while they are preoccupied, they can't really do anything about it.

Are Grey Worm and Missandei going to be of any importance in the final season?

If not ... why was so much time spent on their story line?

NOTE: I am not asking for spoilers and don't want any.

Seems like he has already left. Rememeber the scene of him leaving KL as the snow started to fall.

I hope she's at least of enough importance to justify another nude scene with her.

It didn't feel like a test at all to me, but maybe I guess. I only watched it once as well (I hope to watch the season again in the next couple weeks).

I can roll with that. And he did say "I can see..." So he isn't lying. And that's why he then goes to the secret ceremony and sees it for himself. I can buy that.
