Also, i think another point of showing Sam and the dragonglass book is to set up the return of Gendry so he is able to forge more valyrian steel with the dragonglass.

This guy talks so much fricking bullshite. Every video I just see of him is just wrong non-stop. Like I decided to just check in last week to see if he was talking the same amount of shite, and he said that Jon was a Fire Wight (not theory, fact) and that the predominant reader theory is that Jon and Dany's child ends up on the Iron Throne over them, hence "The Song of Ice and Fire", despite the fact most of us think Dany is infertile, nevertheless meet Jon Snow and pop out a baby by the end.

Obsidian is created by volcanic eruption IRL, so that might be a connection to the Doom of Valyria, or in the show/books, it might possibly be created by dragon fire. Therefore, maybe the key magical ingredient for Valyrian steel and dragon glass is dragon fire.

But that guy has 3 times more subscribers than RedLetterMedia, and significantly more than Jeremy Jahns and Chris Stuckmann. He seems nice enough, but no way does he have an IQ over the 80s. The guy is an idiot who just happened to post at the right place and right time and kept it up.
It's really the Korra shite (where Nick has very harsh restrictions on what their creators can get away with) where this retard insisted for half a season that a monarch wasn't point blank murdered on screen since they said "took out" instead of killed. Any remote subtext that anyone who isn't braindead is lost on him, and he constantly comes to extremely bizarre conclusions he presents as fact to his audience that make no sense to anyone who can form a basic thought and keep up with a narrative.
I saw some bullshite video with him recently where he said Bloodraven was over 500 years old and fought with Aegon the Conquerer. I've seen like 10 of his videos and they're all completely braindead and bullshite. The fact that this retard has over 1.8 million subscribers drives me insane. I'm confident that every maester here would be a far better YouTuber than that mouthbreather.

The dude covers a lot of shows and his videos are really simplistic. He also always has a giveaway in almost every video so that helps. He is certainly on the low tier of YouTube reviewers

Sword smiths pound charcoal into steel when they're folding it over because the carbon bonds with steel at the molecular level, filling gaps and making it stronger. Obsidian is mostly silicon, so it would have the opposite effect.

But they have to message him directly. He's an idiot. He reviews everything and he's always wrong. He has the balls to say "_____ Explained" for his videos.
He said for a fact Jon doesn't have a heartbeat (which I think he would have noticed by now), that he's a fire wight, and that it's the consensus of the readers that Jon and Dany's kid is going to sit on Iron Throne at the end despite Dany being totally sterile and there by no means being enough time for that to happen.
I mean do any of the Maesters here think it's going to be Jon and Dany's kid sitting on the Iron Throne at the end? I've never heard that ridiculous bullshite before.
