Jon is a direct decendant of the Rheagar, who was the heir to the iron throne. There's some weird timing issues given when Rhaegars death and the mad kings but he's the son of the heir vs Dany who was dead last in succession behind her two brothers and their possible children

Ahh ok. I didn't know it went to Rhaegar's kids before it went to her. That seems kind of crazy to me.

Medieval england was no stranger to incestuous royal engagements

I think her logic was that Tyrion killed Tywin and Tywin would've never had the problem that Cercei had dealing with the Faith Militant

That actually surprised me that Cersei would admit that weakness. Book Cersei I think wouldn't and would think her father would become prey to them as well. She simply saw herself as Lord Tywin with tits.

It's the same thing in current English lineage. Harry is behind William and Kate's kids at this point.

Why? It's basically why Joffery inherited the throne instead of Either of the Baratheon bros

That was more or less the ending I was expecting with Sansa/Arya/LF, but I feel like not only were they being deceitful with the audience by not letting us know they were working together, I really don't feel much was accomplished with 2-3 episodes of senseless misdirection.

Why was Bran so insistent on telling Jon about his heritage? So he'd become a dragon rider? I can't imagine he cares about him being heir to the throne, and the way he told Sansa how pretty she looked when she was raped, I don't think he's really anti-incest either.

I also don't understand why Theon is still on the show. That scene between Jon and him was obviously about Jon paving the way to accept that he's both a Stark and Targaryen when he finds out, but I have zero interest in the Greyjoys.

Think she's much more reasonable whenever she has children who she can control

Iluvdatiger is probably having an orgasm over that scene.

How bad did he want to be Tyrion standing outside that cabin?

he cares about the truth.

And LF acted like a bitch at the end, even hit his knees.

Idk if you know this, but this entire series of events was started because of Jon's father and mother.

Not just English, pretty much every and all. Once a new generation is born, their lineage trumps anyone else's outside of their blood parent to the throne.

It was a good way to end LFs time on the show. All the strings he had pulled had finally strung around his throats and were the end of him.

A true heir to the iron throne that also has ties to the north could truly unite the country after the war is over

Yes, yes he does.

I really needed that scene to play out slower. They didnt even give us foreplay. I should have known it was never going to be as fire as it was in my mind.

It just seems inappropriate for Arya to do it. He's just so linked with Sansa.

Yeah. Rhaegar and Lyanna are MASSIVE pieces of shite. Letting an entire kingdom go to war and letting their families be butchered because they wanted to get it in.
