I still have a hard time believing Cersei would let Tyrion leave alive. I was thinking best case that she'd agree to his terms, behead him, and throw it back to Dany agreeing to give her support to defeating the army of the dead.

Jon is a direct decendant of the Rheagar, who was the heir to the iron throne. There's some weird timing issues given when Rhaegars death and the mad kings but he's the son of the heir vs Dany who was dead last in succession behind her two brothers and their possible children

Well yall, I finally got my wish. Didn't even get to enjoy it bc of the ending. I would like to propose season 8 be jon/dany just stay on the boat and cruise around having sex. Meanwhile the rest of westeros falls into chaos. Jon and dany get married on the boat and she gets pregnant. By the time they get to winterfell, everyone is dead and they never find out they are related.

Agreed. Tyrion is partially responsible for Myrcella's death due to sending her to Dorne, but Tommen was all Cersei.

I think her logic was that Tyrion killed Tywin and Tywin would've never had the problem that Cercei had dealing with the Faith Militant
