Well technically I think Rhegars main motivation was to create TptwP. So in his own crazy way, he was saving the world before anyone believed it needed to be saved

I didn't say they were bad people, I think the exact opposite of them. But you can't deny that had they never gotten together, Robert's Rebellion wouldn't have happened.

I also have to shout out Aidan Gillen. He was amazing in that last scene.

The opening scene of next season will be Benjen, Daario, and Euron all captaining ships of the Iron Fleet. The final scene of said episode will be the beginning of Cleganebowl, calling it now, fricking confirmed.

My opinion is if they never had gotten together, then the Others would have won the war. Think about it: if Rhaegar and Lyanna hadn't gotten together, not only would Jon not be born, but Aerys wouldn't have raped his wife the day he killed Brandon and Rickard Stark that conceived Dany, and thus no dragons.

I know in the show Littlefinger was at the tournament while Arya was there and he saw her in Harrenhall, but I don't think that LF and Arya have been in the same room in the books.
