Does anyone agree that this was the best episode of the series? It didn't have a Blackwater or battle of the bastards scene, but from beginning to end it was nonstop suspense. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I liked the episode, but as far as finales are concerned, I certainly think Winds of Winter was better. That just had so many high points more so than this. I would say it's the second best finale though.

Thought that was weird but he might just be concerned his power will be diminished with Jon at her side. Maybe he had fallen in love with her at some point.

Or realizing if he were just a little bit taller, he too..could be a baller.

Did they say it would be 2019 anywhere or are people just speculating?

I see the new cool thing to do is say that GOT sucks.

So that's cool

Convinced Jamie which I think will end up being important.

He's a one armed knight. Granted he has a Valyrian Steel sword which is certain to come in handy, but I don't think it was worth it on paper at least just to get Jaime on their side.

We will see a scene of him crawling out of snow next season. I guarantee it.

I still think the plan to get the wight was retarded given who they were trying to convince.

I mean if you can't trust a known double-crossing, self serving devious psychopathic count like Cersei, who can you trust?

The boat sex should have been longer. I feel a little short-changed.

I don't see them giving Tormund an implied death. I think he's back for the next season.

So I thought the wall was guarded by magic? All it took was for Viserion to blast it with ice fire?

An undead dragon that was birthed by magic, slain and then brought back to life with magic...dragons have a relation to magic as well. There's an unknown connection. Dragons and magic died out at the same time

Just a dragon? They're pretty much the atom bomb of westeros/essos

Reason for 2019 possibly is because of post production and not wanting to compete with the NFL

Wasn't a fan of the Aegon reveal. So Jon is really Aegon, but has a half brother named Aegon.

Why couldn't they just give him another name?

Jamie and the hound go back to kill Cercei. Clegane Bowl and completion of Maggys prophecy and it happens after the North loses a major battle against the WWs and the reinforcements come in time for the final battle

The Night's King never flew over the Wall itself though until it was leveled. I don't think that's the reason the Night's King was allowed to pass.

Is it just me, or can pretty much anybody outrun the Mountain? I was just thinking, "Run, Jaime!" I mean how fast can that thing move?

Game of thrones could beat the NFL easily. They're not the least bit concerned.

No chance. He's a fan favorite. If he does change, writers are going to show that onscreen out of respect.
