I enjoyed that scene. You hear so much about the man that sent his son to the wall and how stern and cruel he can be. Seeing it fleshed out was satisfying

That's pretty fricking big. If Tarly had to choose between the sword and his entire family, I'm honestly not sure with which one he would go with. He can always remarry and have more kids, but he's not getting his prized sword back. Sam is going to have to haul arse without sleeping to Oldtown, and even then they may just turn him over to his father's men.

But why wouldn't Randyll just march his arse after Sam, and take his sword back? That seems out of character for Randyll, especially after that seen they just gave him. And if he does take his sword back, what was the purpose of Sam stealing it?

I mean, she kind of is. But with more layers. She became pretty decent at fighting and how to be a faceless man, she just couldnt ever become "noone" which is good because her being Arya Stark is 100 times more interesting.

That's about as out of character as Tywin hugging Tyrion and saying he loved him. I hope to God he's sent some men after Sam to kill him.

Eh watching Randyll Tarly do his thing was nice. Scene could have been a bit shorter though.
No clue where we are going with this storyline though, way far off from the books. Thought he would drop Gilly, have some awkward conversations with dad and move on.
Arya is not no one. She has a showdown coming with the waif which should be interesting.
Jaime is finally done with KL. Retaking the river lands is his big face turn in the books, so this should be a good move for us book readers.
Danny seems to have tamed Drogon. Hopefully this storyline will hurry the frick up.
Last but definitely not least Benjen is semi-Coldhands. He can apparently telepathically communicate with the 3ER. Also gave him pure blood, so is that semi-confirmation of Jojen paste?
