Yeah, they poured oil on the building and barricaded the doors.

Are we still certain ramsey sent the letter?
It's possible, but I think its as simple as it looks: Ramsay is lying about smashing Stannis' forces and is trying to incite Jon Snow to break his vows so his brothers will kill him. I don't think Stannis has enough info or really the writing prowess to do that. Mance might, but it still seems highly out of character for him to write something like that. I really think that the simplest answer is the correct one here.

I really don't buy any of the Crackpot theories were written by someone other than Ramsay. I don't think Stannis or Mance could write that.
way too many errors in the letter from it to be from Ramsay

I'm hoping the Umbers gave Ramsey Rickon so they could send the letter to get Jon to act.
I think he's going to spend some time persuading houses to join him. Maybe we'll get some version of the Davos interaction with Manderly, with Jon substituting for Davos.

Such as?

In the books it can be debated as to who wrote the letter.
Ramsay never referred to himself as 'Trueborn Lord of winterfell' before. And Stannis' army had yet to be defeated.
In the show its obviously him. And that's great for us

Could still have Davis do it. Jon stays at the wall "mulling his options." Davos goes and talks to the Manderlys.

How many houses will side with Jon and Sansa?

How the hell did Sansa know he killed Roose?

I guess I'm the only one that just doesnt give a frick about Dany's story line that's gone on for about three seasons too long. The dragons are cool, Dany isnt. My only hope is that she goes batshit crazy like her dad.
Hell at this point I kinda hope that crackpot theory of Jorah being Azor Ahai comes true just so he shoves a sword through her heart.

Because:
1) How he said he was Warden of the North
2) Because Ramsey is a sick frick

She knows Ramsey's nature. As soon as she heard that in the letter, she knew.

He called himself the lord of Winterfell and warden of the North, pretty easy to connect the dots

That song is a piece of shite and doesn't make sense. I feel sorry for you if you had your game of thrones experience tainted by that abortion of an excuse for music.

That is just to set off Jon specifically. I don't think any phrase could piss off Jon more on a personal level than another bastard coming in, stealing his home from him and his siblings, and then proclaim himself a "true born lord". I'd imagine Jon was mostly frightened reading that letter for the first time, and then when he got to that part, he got immediately pissed.

And he's lying about that. If he had defeated Stannis' army, he would have had Reek and his bride back. He's wanting Jon to break his vows directly before the Night's Watch so they kill him. The plan worked.

I'm going to be different and say the letter was from LF.

Unfortunate pillow talk after their nightly visits. Listening to him. She knows he is a sick frick obsessed with power.
How else would someone kill Roose if not for Ramsey. No one is getting into WF.

Let's assume Manderly (based on the books). Mormot seems easy given Jon's connection with the house.
Once you get down to Flint, Glover, Talhart who the frick knows.
So you have Bolton + Karstark + Umber v. Wildlings + Manderly + Mormot.
Probably a slight edge to Ramsay with LF and the knights of the vale putting Jon over the top.
