Because I love ASOIAF. Some of you get on your high horse and act like you've never complained about a show before. It's quite hilarious.
complaining about stories or things that happen is fine
I complained like a bitch about Dorne. I already stated that I wasn't sure how I feel about the Umbers giving up Rickon.
I'll complain about the forced dick and fart jokes this season.
but complaining about how bad the entire show sucks week in and week out seems retarded

I guess they feel like they have to explain who the Blackfyres are to all the Hodors?
I guess my question more gets at the question of whether there is any significance to his past identity. If not then why not just casually mention he had been up there for 70 years and not even mention the name Blackfyre?
I don't think we know of anyone from that era except Bran the Builder I think? Aegon only came over about 300 years ago I believe.

I've seen a bunch of posters who disliked the "Where is Lysanna" line, but I suspect that this was put in there for the viewers who are unaware of who Ned and Co was looking for.
I guess they could have worded it differently, but I think we need to realize that what is obvious to us, is not always obvious to the average viewer who hasn't read the book or researched any events.

The Freys won't be in the north, IMO. They'll be at Walder's wedding. You also have to think they'd be wondering where the frick Roose and Walda are.

It's not just different, it is bad writing in a lot of instances.

They could have gone with Ned and company approaching the Kingsguard and after the initial "I looked for you on the Trident" exchange saying, "We are here for my sister Lyanna" and the Kingsguard not letting them pass, then have the 'So it begins" "So it ends" exchange and fight.

You're confusing me with HJJ
I really haven't complained much at all until this week

Yeah the idea that people aren't going to see through Ramsay's lies is ridiculous.
Your father was poisoned and his wife and newborn all died at the same time? Sssssuuuuuurrrrrreeeeeeee

I do like that the Umber called out Ramsey on his awful murder coverup
"He was poisoned by our enemies" is about as believable as DD=T

Bran the Builder dates back to the age of heroes 8000 years ago. bloodraven/tec is believed to be born 126 years ago.
I do think his identity will be important in the books, but not in the show. 'Blackfyre' means nothing to the average Hodor and introducing that storyline would only confuse and complicate the show story.
we can justify his line of "being up here 1000 years" or whatever as having 1000s of years worth of knowledge due to wierwood.net

I'll be honest, the main reason I don't believe in the GNC on the show is because of supposed spoilers that an extra posted on Reddit concerning the Bastard Bowl.
Fair enough. But there have also been casting calls, including character descriptions, that would tend to cut the other way. They are old - back last summer I think for the winter's shooting. Nevertheless, I'll leave some spoiler space for anyone who don't want to hear them.

In particular, there is a casting call for a character named (or "code named") Fletcher:
“Fletcher”: He is a fat nobleman in his 60’s. He has distinctive rugged features, a Northern accent, and a distinguished air. Our source says he has a stirring speech during which he unexpectedly shifts political allegiances. The actor is only expected to shoot for one day- the same day as the above role, on December 16th, in Northern Ireland.

I really really hope the GNC lives on the show. I can't take the umbers handing over the shaggy dog (rip) crew without some kind of legit plan.
