Yes if he is wrong, this shite writing will be hilarious. Just hand over the 12 year old Stark to the psychopath as a damn game. Everything we know about Ramsay says he will immediately either kill or torture Rickon. But I'm sure he won't this time and the Umbers knew it. This show is fricking terrible now.

They have done that the entire series.

I'll be honest, the main reason I don't believe in the GNC on the show is because of supposed spoilers that an extra posted on Reddit concerning the Bastard Bowl.

Brynden Rivers, AKA Bloodraven.
He isn't a Blackfrye.
Just another Westerosi bastard.

No, I believe Jon and Davos will lead the wildlings and a few northern houses vs Ramsay, the Karstarks, and Umbers

I don't believe there will be any great conspiracy.
Killing Rickon is just lazy, though they did seem to enjoy killing Shireen last season. I've seen the same pictures you have. We'll see.

I'm all for the GNC and they did cast someone that's supposedly Manderly, but I feel like in the show this is going to be setup by LittleFinger. He's been quiet for too long, so he'll make some form of grand return IMO.
1. Send in SmallJon and request to pull some of Ramsey's men north to fight Jon...which will just be an ambush on Ramsey's men.
2. Use Rickon as a means of gaining trust.
3. Attack Winterfell from the south after Ramsey's force has been weakened.
4. Show LittleFinger and his smirk after he takes Winterfell.
5. End Credits

I know, there's just no way someone could have a different opinion from you.

Well, I came up with that on a whim. There could have been a much better way of putting it than "Where is my sister".
Why don't you take 5-7 years to think about the best way to write it and update us when you're ready?

It's called a Game of Thrones for a reason.
Ya its always seemed like a nod to the game of houses in the WOT series to me, same principle of deceit and scheming as a way to gain power.

Yeah, handing Rickon over is such a brilliant move.
Posted on 5/9/16 at 11:07 am to UncleBlazer
you can think the show sucks
I have no idea why someone would continue watching a show that they think sucks so badly though
and we all know you will be watching (and bitching) next week again

You have to consider the possibility that the GNC is happening, just with some shitty writing and logic leaps.

Rickon will be in place of Mance when Ramsey sends his letter

In the books there were 3 kingsguard outside of the tower. Anybody think the 3rd kingsguard is in the tower with Lyanna. I am not sure which one he would be, we know he wouldn't be Dayne. Maybe when Ned goes up there, the last guy agrees to Ned raising Jon and the 3rd guy disappears. He becomes another character we are familiar with (high sparrow or Mance Rayder). I am just hoping. I also think one of Arya's first kill assignments will be someone who she is close too and will have to make a choice between them or the faceless men. I really liked the episode and didn't have a problem with the TOJ scene other than not having a bad arse sword for Dayne (and even that is nitpicking).

He was involved with the Blackfyre rebellion (though he was against them) which is what got me confused. Since I knew he was a Targaryen bastard I automatically went to Blackfyre as a surname rather than Rivers.
I dunno just weird they would take that part out and make him some random person dating to before the Targaryen's came to Westeros (I believe).

Because I love ASOIAF. Some of you get on your high horse and act like you've never complained about a show before. It's quite hilarious.
As to whether I will watch the show next week, I can't say but I won't be posting in this thread.

Given that Whent was sharpening his sword in the books and we see nameless Kingsguard sharpening his sword, it appears they deleted Ser Gerold Hightower who was already quite old at the time of the TOJ.
I would hope he doesn't turn into another secret identity. Also the High Sparrow please not have a secret identity? These theories are getting my jimmies rustled.

Hello everyone!
I haven't been around in awhile but wanted to drop in and say hello. I've been lurking the threads just to see what y'all had to say about things.
I've successfully gone through all the stages of grief and finally hit the level of Acceptance. Acceptance that things just aren't ever going to be in the show as they are in the books, and that we probably aren't going to get any more books.
I've learn to just accept things that way they are because there is jack squat that we can do about it, and it's made my enjoyment of the show so much better.
What are your opinions on After the Thrones?
I like the people on it, but I feel like the show and even the Inside the Episode features are there to guide the Hodors into a certain way of thinking about the events that took place.

Probably because they just want him to appear as mystical as possible to the Hodors. They haven't touched on the Blackfyres at all on the show.
