And at the first sighting of Jon, Ramsay would kill Rickon right in front of him, and the Umber know it.
I don't know, I mean right now Jon Snow seems like a scary mother in a way that makes Ramsey look like an overcompensating wuss- pretend we don't have the Jon chapters but just know what he's done:
Fought off a wight at Castle Black; found a cache of Dragon stone weapons; infiltrated the wildings; saved the wall, ended a war, basically ran the WW2 boat lift; became first remembered man to kill a white walker; the second youngest commander of the watch in recorded history; oh yeah and come back from the freaking dead- that's a level of terrifying that no number of flayings, castrations or rapes can match.

Good point. I'm a bit ambivalent about it, plus he called Roose a count. We'll just have to see what happens.

I think you guys are underestimating the Umber's hate for wildlings. Whatever loyalty they still had to the Starks went out of the window whenever Jon let thousands of wildlings through the wall.

That's a good point I think I agree with you.

I am going to be unhappy if that was actually a dead Shaggy.

I understand your misgivings, my lord. Truly, I do. It is a terrible thing we must consider, a vile thing. Yet we who presume to rule must sometimes do vile things for the good of the realm.

Ramsay has also mentioned the Manderly's being among his allies, and unless they go "180 from the book" we know that's absolutely not true.

I don't think that doesn't imply that Varys isn't a monster. Plenty of monsters bribe kids with candy.
What you didn't notice is that none of his little birds are older than 13. He kills them once they turn the age to not being bought off with candy. Any little bird he happens to be fond of I think he sends to Illyrio instead.

You're right but the show heavily implied this is not what goes on. This show is officially for Hodors now and Varys is a "good guy" now so he has to be sweet.
Unless he kills a child or rips out a tongue this season or we hear of how he does, the show is implying he doesn't do these things. I'll retract my argument if the show does do this.

Is anyone talking about how the Raven stated that Howland Reed is Meera's father?
Yes. Yet another cookie crumb for a set up of the TOJ scene to continue and we learn the truth about Jon.

There hasn't been a direwolf sighting south of the wall in 200 years before the Starks found their direwolves. It's not like the Umbers can just go out and find black/dark colored direwolf to take Shaggydog's place unless they are the luckiest people in Westeros.

Yep and was like okay they will bring Howland Reed and it was confirmation for me that he is the HS.
Then, he confessed no children. IDK now.

No one was going to be happy with the interpretation of TOJ.
Yeah, I don't want to nitpick... actually I do, but that scene is one last "frick You" to the Readers. That's the last scene we have that can't be spoiled for us and they deliberately try to shite on it.
First off one of the Kingsguard is missing for no real reason, which non-readers will not notice the difference. What the frick was the point on taking one of the Kingsguards out of the equation aside from to piss us off?
Secondly, it turned into a stupid interrogation from Ned. Ned asks why they weren't there for Rhaegar and where Lyanna is.
Thirdly, no Dawn. And one last frick you, you have Ser Arthur Dayne fighting like Anakin from Attack of the Clones.
I don't know how they could have saw that and thought to themselves "the hardcore fans will be pleased with this". They really should have had it word for damn word here and started off the season with ToJ instead of this BS.

But it also confirms that Meera isn't Jon's twin sister (which I always thought was as crackpot of a theory as there is out there).

I think they prefer making nice with the wildlings to facing that force after having to fight the wildlings. It would be the war of the Two Harolds, with the WW playing William the Conqueror, regardless of who won.

That's the main hole in the story. Wouldn't the Umbers know about why they were allowed South?? Or have any indication of the White Walkers?

Also, shite episode for tyrion
Awkward AF just him, missandei and no dick grey worm at the table.

I can imagine a scene where Ramsey uses the dogs to break Rickon. Rickons eyes go white. Alpha dogs eyes go white. Dogs begin to rip Ramsey to shreds. Camera zooms in on white eyed Rickon, Ramsey screaming in the background. Screams stop. White eyed Rickon smiles. Roll credits with the sound of feeding dogs.

Is it just me, or are Ol' Piss fans some of the most miserable cünts on the M/TV boards?
Not that they're all bad, but they just have this sour grapes, pinched nose foulness to them. Like angry little gnomes who can never be happy or satisfied.
Maybe it's an Oxford thing.
