That literally means everything. The words came out of his mouth that's why he's following the Boltons. You can disagree with the reasoning but that's the reasoning

That was his reasoning for supporting House Bolton. Not Ramsey. He obviously conspired with Ramsey to overthough his father. Why?

Why follow a bastard, who is psychotic and has zero support from the crown instead of a proven and wise leader like Roose?

Ramsay is Lord. He's following his Lord. Sometimes the simplest answers are the right ones.

Y'all...that scene between Davos and the Red Woman where Davos is pleading for her to save him is unbelievable. You can see the hopelessness in her face and hear it in her face. At that point, she had lost all faith. I wonder how she's going to act once Jon wakes up and she sees him alive.

And I guess that's a big if. I can see where she leaves the room where Jon was and either leaves or kills herself because she had "failed"

Yeah, she hangs herself and her last sight is a raven flying in telling everyone Balon Greyjoy just died... Thus completing her Gendry leech magic ritual.

He said that it was time for some new blood in the north, pretty much right before Ramsay killed Roose. Out with the old, in with the new

When the truth comes out about Jon's lineage, I can't wait to see the reaction of Littlefinger and Varys.

Is there a logical reason for the Karstark dude to support Ramsey? Ramsey has no support from the crown, he is a bastard and he just murdered his father and Lord of House Bolton.

I feel that they are trying to relign the northern alliances with the book version. I believe that when the book ended Karstark were with the Boltons and Freys, while some other northern houses were with the Starks.

The preview chapter Theon in TWOW outlines what happens with the Karstarks, Umbers, Lord Too-Fat, Aenys Frey, etc.

The Karstarks get dealt with by the Mannis

I haven't read all the preview chapters, but after what Lord Bloodraven told Bran, I thought it was a lock that House Manderly would destory House Karstarks.

Finally was able to watch last nights episode. Was an awesome episode. Davos might be the best actor on the show.

Only negative I have with the episode, is that I think they brought Jon back too quick. I mean he was only "dead" for 2 episodes. And everyone was talking about him not being dead and all that.

But it was an awesome episode.

At least in the books, I think Varys already knows that Jon Snow is Rhaegar's son and Varys hired Jaqen to kill Jon Snow before Ned could tell him of his heritage. Once Ned was dead though, Varys called off the hit, but Jaqen was already scheduled to go North regardless.

As far as show Varys is concerned, I think it will be indifference. Book Varys will seek to destroy him.

The bigger issue for LF is not that Jon is Rhaegar's heir, but that he's Robb's heir. If they are able to get the document to Jon, then LF's plans are screwed with Sansa.

I don't think he's given it up at all. I'm calling it: LF will rule the North and Winterfell at the end of the season, with Sansa as his hostage.

When did tv Rob write a letter recognizing Jon as his heir?

Also, i think littlefinger and Varys both know about Jon but don't care because he took the black. So just like Measter Aegon becoming a Maester, Jon becomes a non-issue. However, if Tyrion and Varys ever get to talking about Jon, Tyrion is going let Varys know what an honest and good person Jon Snow is and that could lead to a northern alliance helping to get Dany on the throne.
