And the books wouldn't be nearly as good.
I swear, some of you just want the plot comic book style.

so much interesting and rich history to this series
this is because of this FWIW

Martin's writing style and the endless chapters of nothing happening

Before last night you could have argued the Martell's were in the best position. As far as we knew they only had person killed by another from Robert's rebellion to last season
i'd imagine there is still a host of men they could call upon. Too bad they will be have Hillary Clinton running the ship.

I'm glad they killed a stupid storyline. Part of me wishes they could've done that in Mereen with Dany
But it's crazy how much trust Doran STILL had in Ellaria and the snakes. They threatened to kill him like 59 times and he still lets them chill with him in the water gardens

Tyrells - Whole crew still in tact. Probably in the best position too.
Loras is the only Tyrell son in the show right? So his only son is gay and his daughter is married to a king who is a product of incest. And both are currently held captive.
They do have the largest army, I believe.

as long as they don't waste time done there any more.
I fear that we will see a Cersei vs Sand snake "who can be the least sane women" battle. I hope Jamie doesn't waste his time with all that

I have a dumb question and I'm sure it's been asked before, but I haven't seen it. If Mel uses her "power" and resurrects Jon, and then Mel gets killed down the road, would that also kill Jon?
I'm wondering this because of Arya. If Arya eventually kills Mel, would she unknowingly be killing Jon as well?

I'm not sure how their deaths would relate to one another... Just because she breathed life back into Jon, doesn't mean he will die when she does. They are still two entirely separate human beings...

Until they bring JON back, we have to ignore that guy. Which is why JON should already be back

I wasn't sure if the "fire" would leave both of them. I was hoping that wouldn't be the case.

quote:Well, they're going to have both. I doubt they have a kingsmoot, or if they do, she's going to win.
What's funny is if they really wanted to go all-in on a girl power storyline they already had an established character in Yara that would have been better received than Ellaria.

I'm starting to think that the entire Iron Islands storyline is just going to be a way to get more ships to Danny and company.
To be honest I'd kinda like to see an interaction between the Iron Islanders and the Dothraki. I was always curious what a meeting between Vikings and Turks or Mongols would have been like with each side at the height of their powers. Of course that is a bit off the path of this show.

Y'all forget that Theon is going to return home and throw a wrench into Yara's plans.
