So I just watched the alt shift x recap of episode 7. At the very end they did a Clegane bowl get hype thing.
I thought that was something unique to this board. How did that Clegane bowl get hype meme come into being?

Cat is easily my least favorite character in the books. They made her a little more likeable in the show.
Pretty much this. However, I think G.R.R.M defined Cat's character to strike a balance between the generally noble/kind image of the Starks to show that even the best of us are flawed and not immune to misery. Had every member of the Stark family been saintly (ex. Cat a totally loving mother to Jon), the contrast between that pristine image and their plight would created less credibility IMO.

So one thing that I don't think has been covered well enough in the show is Jon's resurrection. It's not all that clear how many people are aware that he died and came back. Sansa seems to either not know or not care. Also, assuming the Northern Lords don't know, why hasn't anybody accused him of being an oathbreaker? I really hope this is touched on in some way.

From the Hodor thread:

Not really. I've always believed.

You will know if they name drop Syrio in the "previously on" segment. No suprises allowed

Cleganbowl would suck.
I would prefer to see him fight side by side with zombie brother

You watch that? fricking casual. We skip it like true book reading snobs.

It's funny because they had a cold open just for the surprise of the Hound's return. They chose to preserve the surprise for the few people who read and remember the names in the opening credits, but they spoil major events for far more people with the 'previously on' segment.

Also, does Cersei seem too calm to everyone? She doesn't seem as concerned or emotional as she has been in previous seasons. I have no doubt that this is deliberate.

Nah. Definitely not unique this board. That shite's everywhere. Watchers on The Wall is always using that phrase - and that board skews Hodor (ou unsullied as they like to call it).
If I had to guess, where it originated, the guy who said maybe Reddit was probably right. I've never been to that site but the apparently have a huge GoT section.
