Shireen's death isn't even in my top 5 of fricked up things that have happened in this show

Will Dany get greyscale now for touching Jorah's hand?

We need clarification. Do you get it from simply touching someone with it or do you have to touch the greyscale itself?
Posted on 6/8/15 at 7:08 am to Byron Bojangles III
Pretty sure you have to touch the infected area because if you couldn't touch anyone at all, no way in hell would Jorah risk giving it to Dany
Plus there's no way Dany is getting grey scale

I assumed you had to touch the greyscale. Same as herpes. Gotta touch the active herpes to get it. Uh, thats what a friend told me anyway.

And now Shireen Baratheon's Reading Rainbow is ended.

man last night was brutal
I did not see Stannis burning Shireen...at all
My wife was yelling at me "He stops right?! Somebody saves her right?!" the whole time and I kept saying "this isn't in the books, I don't know!"
and was anyone else slightly horrified for split second that they were about to kill Drogon and Dany wouldn't fly?

If the show is like the books with respect to dragons, they're only killing Drogon if they hit him in the eye.

I know the dragons are almost invisible in the books
but the show has pretty clearly shown that it is not the books
I was pretty confident Dany would fly, but for a split second there I was worried

i was more scared for Drogon than i was for Shireen

Given the last couple comments think we could give some credit to the show for giving some actual drama to the event that book readers knew what was coming in the pits

I would say that I felt worse for Drogon being speared while Dany just sat there and watched than I did for Shireen being burnt at the stake while Stannis just stood there...but that would probably mean that I'm some sort of crazy arse, save the whale lefty hippie, and all around terrible person...so I won't.

This show needs something good to happen to the good guys for a change. Evil perpetually winning is becoming a bit cliche. I felt this way about the books too. It's very grating.
This is the main reason I really hope they don't end the season on Jon's stabbing.

I never bought into the fact that the book series/tv series will end with the White Walkers killing everyone, or some other tragic ending. I think we end with one of Jon, Dany, or Tyrion (most likely Jon, followed by Dany) sitting on the Iron Throne at the end. GRRM did say that the ending would be bitter sweet, but I think that just means one of those three will sacrifice themselves at the end (like Dany becoming Jon's Nissa Nissa or something). I think the Stark house will be in the best position of all of the other major houses at the end. Just a hunch of mine.

I would be shocked if Jon's stabbing isn't a cliffhanger.

I would rather it be a resurrection that's the cliffhanger.
