After seeing the episode tonight I went back and looked at a few of the older episodes trying to make sense of everything. I go back to the episode where Beric Dondarrion gets resurected by Thoros of Myre, and Melisandra says that he had a mission from the high priest to switch King Robert to the lord of light. If that is true, then was her job truly to get Stannis to be king, or was it a joint mission by them to sabotage the hierarchy? She succeeded with Stannis, but obviously she was either wrong or she was just setting in motion his demise. Either way, she seemed shocked that Thoros was even able to bring Beric back, so I'm not so sure she would even be able to bring Jon back if she wanted to. Not sure what to make of it, but in that episode where they take Gendry, Melissandra talks to Arya and says she sees darkness in her eyes. Eyes of brown green and blue staring back at her. And she will close those eyes forever. And then she says we will meet again. WTF is going on?!

Explain this better.

Nah.

Which one says she'll close the other ones eyes? I must have forgotten that scene.

It was a long arse fall, even with snow, but I guess they would have said something at the end of the show if they died.

I'm thinking they jumped off into a moat with a thin layer of ice on top. Definitely not dead.

Lost in my anger about the Night's watch cowards ambushing Jon is how badass Arya assassinating Meryn Trant was. Now, I have no idea where that story line is going but I hope it ends in more Arya assassinations.

Definitely not dead, they used Sansa's overcoat as a hang glider and floated gently to safety. They'll be aroused by the near death experience, Sansa will want to bone Theon but he has no dick.

Not to worry, he always ties a carrot around his waist as a stunt cock, she'll never know the difference.

They pork and Sansa becomes pregnant, but it's actually Ramsay's baby because ole Carrot Cock is sterile. Theon raises the baby as his own, even though it's a hell spawn.

Ahh, maybe so. Maybe just a coincidence that she's blind.

Really great season finale. I think it's obvious Jon Snow is Azor Ahai. No one else it could be. IMO Stannis is still alive. Salsa and Reek can easily survive a jump into a 20 ft deep snow drift.
frick this season went too fast.

Just a few thoughts on where all this might be going.

If Jon is going to stay dead then why even show us the brothers without banners. Besides showing us that the lord of light has the power to resurrect the dead it really didn't mean much else. I refuse to have another Omar character on HBO.

Tyrion, Varys, and Dany with dragons, dothraki, and unsullied. Looks like the makings of a formidable team.

Is the Dornish prince gonna get merked or will he be a piece to use in the future.

Cesei wrecks shite early next season before Tommen and then her get taken out. Tommen has to die first per the prophecy.

Will Cokes breathe fire and fury when he opens this thread and see that it is infested with book readers.

Also I think it's too early to merge these threads, I'm sure there is some prophecy shite or what not that they have knowledge of that we don't that might come into play later.

Azor Ahai has been mentioned a bunch of times on the show

It's like the entire point of Mel's existence

It's almost definitely Jon Snow. But Dany was meant to have the "Stallion That Mounts the World", and that prophecy was essentially pointless.

Prophecies and religion are complicated as hell in this universe, apparently.

The Lanisters are pretty much fricked, Tommen is completely overwhelmed. Cersi is about to go on trial, Jamie is coming back home with his dead daughter.

Margery is in prison which pretty much leaves the Tyrells shite out of luck. Maybe they invade KL?

Stannis maybe dead but even if Brienne didn't kill him he has no army. So he will probably have to side with someone.

Not sure where the hell Sansa and Theon are going since they're surrounded by enemies. Only place I could think of would be to the Wall.

Dany seems to be the front runner now if she can convince the Dothraki to join her. She also needs to bust out the other two dragons. With Tyrion, Varys, and Jorah advising her including three dragons the Unsullied and Dothraki she would definitely be ready to sail.

Hoping the theory about Jon being revives by Mel is true otherwise I hope the White Walker's take the north.
