Stannis was a big TigerDroppings poster. He always kept his laptop handy.

I've been pretty quiet this season but as far as I'm concerned this show is getting extremely close to jumping the shark.
I'm OK with it deviating from the books. I am not OK with why and how they are deviating from the books.
The pink letter is nowhere to be found which makes the mutiny of the watch completely nonsensical.
They give Sansa strength last season only to see her return to the scared little girl of the first three seasons.
Littlefinger who the show has established as being damn near all knowing somehow makes folly after folly while being pretty much absent.
Tyrion has become a parody of himself lacking any depth.
And speaking of parody don't even get me started on the dorne scenes.

He couldn't openly disobey the lord commander's orders, lest he suffer the same fate as Slynt. So Thorne and his conspirators begrudgingly let them through, knowing they would assassinate
Jon under the cloak of night. Now they have some plausible deniability and won't be labelled mutineers and executed.
I think Allister turned on Jon after they let the wildlings inside Castle Black. He didn't realize Jon sacrificed Brothers for the wildlings. How could he? He hadn't let them back in yet.
Jon even says this when he's talking to Sam.
"The first Lord Commander in history to sacrifice sworn brothers to save the lives of wildlings. How does it feel to be friends with the most hated man in Castle Black."
First he lets in the wildlings, which is bad but not mutiny bad.
Then he sacrifices sworn brothers to save wildlings. Unforgivable.

BTW, if show Davos is at the Wall, won't he instantly kill Mel when he finds out she had Stannis burn Shireen?
Also, show Myrcella dying was kind of stupid. Wouldn't they just turn the boat right the frick around, go tell Doran and have Elaria and the SS killed?

I think the show would have been much worse if they stuck closely to the books. Like unbearable. Nimble dick, Tyrion on an endless boat voyage. No Hardhome. Sansa babysitting sweet Robert all season. No Bronn. Worthless Kingsmoot. Idiots trying to tame a dragon would have been cool to see.

Say what? Hannibal was well before the Ides

How do we know that they don't? I mean it's a boat, not a chevy impala, it takes a little time for Jamie to see she died, tell the captain and start turning around

So I guess Doran is now número uno on the Sand Snakes (Ellaria's) hit list?!?
Seems like taking him out would have been the better first step.

well it was a Dornish boat.
theory: this was doran's idea and Jamie is now captive on a floating prison/his daughter's coffin

In not opposed to all the changes. I'm opposed to the reasoning of the changes.
This show used to be realistic like the books. Now its just anti typical fantasy where the good guys never win and its annoying and its becoming a joke
