That's the problem right there. People act like Martin can do no wrong.
Everyone hates the Dany storyline, but the second I mention that something is poorly written it's like McCarthyism all over again. Just because I say Martin wrote something poorly doesn't mean I dislike the show. I still watch it every week, but it's not perfect. Pointing out flaws doesn't mean I suddenly hate Game of Thrones.

No one is saying Martin is an infallible writer. Your particular criticisms are just stupid.

This is pretty false. He gets criticized all the time for being a sadistic SOB who kills off beloved characters.
You just don't know what a plot hole is. It's ok

You are a dumbarse. Bad writing can be subjective so I won't knock you for your opinion. But you kept saying it was a plot hole, when it was in no way a plot hole.
Starting to think you are trolling.

You're missing basically every point you can possibly miss. I won't resort to namecalling, but nobody is saying GRRM can't do wrong...shite, we cuss his troll arse every other week in here.
The problem is that you're saying it's bad writing and plot holes when it's actually the exact opposite of that. I.e. the points you're trying to make not only don't make sense, but the proposed ways to "fix" them make even less sense and actually delve into "plot hole/bad writing" territory.
If you were talking about other things, people might agree with you. But you're talking out of your arse mostly, and then defending it with even more and more absurd reasoning.

You're entitled to your opinion.
If Mance could take Castle Black and get through the wall using a few hundred Wildlings, how do they stand a chance against a zombie hoard?

My opinion is actually fact. You just choose to ignore it.

Probably using a pulley system of some sort.

Pulley is to GoT as moats are to The Walking Dead

I find it funny that in an episode where a thousand year old little girl is throwing fireballs at reanimated skeletons, a pulley seems far fetched.

I was just thinking the exact same thing.

I find it funny you still are ignoring that the show has fricking spelled out to you just how hard going up the wall with nothing is.
At this point, it's clear you're just bored today and feel like trolling.

Nobody is saying that a pulley is farfetched...just your idea of somehow "using a rope" on top of the wall to create a pulley system with the ground 700 feet away to open a heavily fortified iron gate that is massively protected by Crows to get 100,000 people across the wall.
That post seals it for me...you're trolling.

The only people we have seen successfully climb the wall were basically special forces and they still almost died.
Besides Mances plan makes perfect sense. They raid the northern towns to distract and draw out nights watch to protect the towns, which they normally would have done but Jon Snow left the wildlings and told the nights watch Mances plan.
Had he not, it would have worked perfectly.

What about the big bow that the giant used? He shot an arrow 700 feet up right through a guy's chest with enough force that it blew him back over the wall.
Why not tie a few Wildlings to an arrow, have a giant shoot them over the wall, and then they deploy the makeshift parachutes they've fashioned using goat bladders and twine.

This maybe the dumbest thing you've said in this thread. Off to lunch I go.
