My main thought about this episode is whether we finally get the full force of the White Walkers showing up as part of the battle. It's gotta happen sooner or later.

No I dont think we've hit the full force of the long winter yet. When that strikes, if it ever really does, that is when the white walkers will start washing over the wall.

All of Westeros will be iced over when winter comes which the White Walkers will then lay waste to the living in their way. They have a special power of bringing frigid cold as they move as well. Remember the throne room in Bran's tree vision?
