I originally thought he was Jon Snow's dad. Being that he was of the Knight's watch and swore an oath not to bear children, had to give him up to Ned, and Ned obliged because if it came out that Benjen had a son then he probably would be executed.
That's why "Uncle Benjen" and Snow had closer bond in the first episode, and why Benjen didn't want Jon on the wall, but Ned was okay with it.
But then he disappeared so now Jon is Cersi's

The wife believed this as well. We both assume it isn't Ned, but Benjen doesn't seem impactful enough considering he's been written out of the series completely - not sure he's even mentioned after Season 2

W = Westeros
KL = King's Landing
SB = Slaver's Bay
M = Mereen

Red blob is the Red Waste that they crossed after leaving Qa'arth (Q).
So Dany is still in Mereen as of now I believe. So she's got a LOOOOONG way to go.

I just refer to it as a theory - while I did look up more details on the internet, I developed it solely from watching Season 1 and part of Season 2. I'm not spoiling anything - the readers in my family say it has neither been confirmed nor denied in the books published to date.
I CANNOT see how discussion of this theory can be spoilerish IN ANY WAY. But, I'll shut up if there is a consensus.

Right, but if those theories and speculation are coming from the perspective of a bookreading knowledge base, then it definitely goes against the point of this thread. That's all I'm saying.

I get that. And if your "theory" comes from you watching the show and that's all, then NBD. If it comes from speculative articles you've read (that could be based on other things), discussions with readers, etc., then that's a different ballgame.
And I'm not accusing anybody of spoiling anything, btw. Just trying to maybe head off some bad discussion (in terms of the Hodor thread), that's all.

also since we can't participate in the crackpot thread. we should make our own. would be fun to lay down some predictions now, if we could keep readers out.

you'd think the last half of the last book will be some sort of huge war against white walkers. everyone that hasn't been assassinated by GRRM will show up. Khaleesi will fly in with dragons, help win the war. her and jon snow live happily ever after. the boltons flay Cersei. (Disney version, minus the flaying)
however it will probably go like this. all the lannisters will turn into white walkers and destroy everyone, the end.
