I don't know. I can't get the Inigo Montoya thing out of my head. Part of me suspects that GRRM always thought that character was annoying and wanted to see him get skullfricked. 
I don't think we know Benjen well enough to be shocked at him being turned into a wight. I think he's still alive. Maybe he'll show up during the wall battle, but I'm not sure how much good it would do against a hundred thousand or how ever many they're supposed to have.

I agree - much like Mance Rayder and The Mountain - Benjen was talked about, but rarely seen. However, if he was a wight, why wouldn't we have seen him by now? Why wouldn't he have gone with Other and Flowers to attack the Night's Watch?
Something else is afoot.

True - but the battle itself might be the catalyst that triggers his return - somehow I see at least Snow and Samwell survive the battle, although all bets are off for the rest. Maybe Benjen has information sufficient to trigger a truce or a ceasefire - maybe he runs in just prior to the battle with a recon report from the wildlings.
They still occasionally talk about him, so I don't think his part of the story is done.

Even though this is a show with dragons and pussy assassins I still have an issue with that frozen wasteland being able to support 100,000 people. The amount of food alone would be enormous, they aren't growing it and I haven't seen boundless herds of elk like creatures.

She seems to be kinda hippie-ish, which sucks, but as for her looks/body, they're on point. Just picture her from 300, when all of her tats were gone.

and, how far are the dragons from king's landing, that gif of the dragon flying over the city...is that going to happen this season or not?

They're very far and Daenerys is busy being queen now. With only 2 episodes left I seriously doubt we see Dany vs. KL. My bet is we see Stannis vs. KL part 2.

Right - and Jon/Dany isn't the only possible pairing or combination.
The Lord of Light versus the White Walkers' god.
Even the pairing between Stannis and Melisandre - he's very "cold" - she is not.
Just a number of things...

Based on the map they showed Jorah looking at last episode, they are not really that far....and she could send a dragon to get there even faster just to wreck some shite and send a warning.
But mostly that shot of the map was foreshadowing that they are about to head towards KL imo

I forgot. Do we even know what Benjen looks like? If not, him showing up as a wight would have zero dramatic effect.
But to be honest, the only thing that could slow down an army that huge would be the white walkers, which you'd think would eventually show up one of these days. They can't just white walk forever.

They are in Mareen, the map he was looking at was another coastal city (Astapor maybe) which is on the west coast of Esson with KL being on the East coast of Westeros.
